> 24 hourI generally get good results with my Epilog laser engraver but this just didnt come out well. Highly sensitive to focus, but even then I had dark gray shadow lines. My signs didnt come out well and I do wish Id looked elsewhere

> 24 hourI paid for .06 and got .04 thickness. Item Not As Described. returned. They are, however, easy to to do the score and bend to snap into smaller pieces. take a flat edge like a metal ruler, carefully gently slide the edge of a box cutter to score, or use something like a manual slide the blade thing with mounted blade, about 10 times to make a groove, bend it against an edge to break, snapping into smaller pieces, then use a knife to trim the edges if any bits are sticking out.

> 24 hourProduct is good for what I needed it for. The price was great compared to others. Had a longer lead time than what I was expecting but I had time to wait for it.

> 24 hourThe substrate is supposed to be white but it is more of a dirty white/grey color so the engraving looks dirty. Not recommended if you are looking for a true white substrate.

> 24 hourI recently got a laser engraver and was acquiring some different blanks to use with it. I thought these would be good for making into smaller signs or even cutting into smaller shapes for things like badges or something. However, these do state Perfect For Rotary Engraving, but not 100% for laser. Unfortunately, that information seems to be buried in the listing, and I didnt pay attention to it. I was able to use it with my laser... sort of, but not well. I never got good results and if a black soot layer forms on it, its very difficult to get that off making the entire surface look dirty. More soot also seems to form on these than the ones meant for use with laser engraving. It also doesnt get as clean an edge on the designs you make in it. I still gave this 4 stars because its unfair to take them away when Im using it in a way they dont recommend. Despite the issues I had and the many hours playing around with settings to try and get it to work well, I was able to get a few decent signs out of these. The material is sturdy but not too heavy so it does work well for small signs and if you can get it cut nicely using a rotary engraver or somehow manage nice results with a laser then it makes nice signs and the contrast of white and blue looks good. If you have a rotary engraver these are probably great but if you have a laser engraver expect more disappointing results. They do sell blanks intended for use with laser engravers so Id recommend just finding the size/color in the blanks they do recommend for laser use.

> 24 hourThe top layer is very thin and scratches easily. Handle with care. I have started spraying finished projects with clear coat to protect the appearance but that affects the finished look.

> 24 hourI feel bad for this line of products getting all these negative reviews because people havent dialed in their settings. Ill admit that it took me 4 or 5 tries to get it perfect, but Im getting consistent results now. I use an Endurance 10W diode laser on an Openbuilds ACRO platform. Doing the cuts in 6 passes yielded the nicest edges, but with different air assist setups Im sure some more aggressive cutting could be done. I dont use air assist for the engraving portion and definitely do use air assist for the cuts. Alcohol does a great job wiping off any charred dust the might get blown around. So there ya go, 5 stars from me.
