Zoo Med Aquatic Turtle UVB Heat Lighting Kit

Its a great kit, but the wiring is faulty. For one of the switches we have to move the cord/switch all over and jiggle it to get it to come on. Weve had it a month and the wiring problem started on day one. A little disappointed about that.

The lights were just what we expected. Great purchase.

Works well. Small to easily fit a above a 20 gallon tank. Bulb(s) did not stick out past hood. Was able to set directly on top of tank screen.

This lamp has met all my expectations and warms up nicely. Ive had it for about a little over a month and my turtles love it. Will update if anything goes wrong.

The lamp requires a mounting assembly which is sold separately. This wasnt clear at the time of purchase. The nature of the assembly requires the tank to be positioned to on a flush surface in an open setting which really limits its application. The hood itself is nice and concise, which is why I bought it but to have to also by a mounting setup that is essentially unusable in my case was far from ideal.

I had to order two of these because of bulb issues. After ordering two of these items, the UVB bulb did not work. They arrived broken. They rattled like a babys rattle.

I have bought a total of 3 of these in the past, all of which have arrived with one of the dome fixtures not working. Do not buy!
