Zoo Med Aquatic Turtle UVB Heat Lighting Kit

GREAT!! My turtle was desperately in need of a dual light and this is perfect. The cords are nice and long and have independent on/off switches. It sits flush on the wire top. Fixture gets warm, but not hot.

I like the convenience but noticed that it the cell is a little haevy the it loses the balance. Also I think the hinges eventually will get lozer if you are not gentle to handle it.

This is only one light shown. I highly recommend this. Light works fine. It came with a lot of dust, quality not perfect when first shipped but a Bonus is the price compared to other sellers.

The fixture is fine but the heat bulb is so weak I can rest my hand on it without getting burned. My turtle room is 78 degrees, a slate rock 6 under the light had a surface temp of 78 degrees. I removed entire unit and replaced with a 120v chicken warmer with reflector for a quarter of the cost. I cant recommend unless you have a small tank with enough room to fit this in the tank, not on top of it.

Perfect combo for your turtle needs!! I would get this and not have to do your own jumbo set up or have more then one light or what! this is simple and easy to do!

I just received this today, everything seemed fine my turtle liked it. Not even 8 hrs later the heat light burned out and stopped working!! Now I have to go buy another one after paying $50 for this due to receiving it faster since my turtle is in need of one (AGAIN). Would appreciate if you can replace it!

Nice set up for my indoor aquatic red ear slider. Good Quality - hopefully any replacement lamps will be easily obtainable in the future.

Good duo lamp for turtles
