Zoo Med Turtle Tuff Splashproof Halogen Lamp

Quality seems to be decreasing. my first purchased lasted a few years. Then I started buying them annually. Now they cant even last 5 months

I have purchased three of these already. The first one lasted a very long time (6+ months), the second unfortunately only lasted about 2-3 months. Ive hard the 3rd one for about 3 months now and I am hoping itll last a long time. The glass on the bulb is very sturdy and thick which puts me at ease in case any water happens to splash on it.

This went out after 6 weeks of proper use...... very disappointed !

So far so good. Compact little bulb that packs a lot of heat. My turtles love it. My last water proof bulb from another company, exploded all over my turtles and tank. I was so glad they were not hurt. What a mess to clean up. This one appears very durable. Will keep you informed.

My turtle loves this light. They all pile up on each other on the log to get to this light. This light is a must if you have issues with getting natural light for your turtles.

Only lasted 4 months..

This is the second bulb in less than a month that has broken. I have used this most recent one for little over a week, not even on full power via a dimmer switch, and the top of the bulb came unglued. Will not buy this brand again.

Great bulb! Perfect watt for my red eared slider.

Theyre not exactly unbreakable but the best Ive come by.
