Zoo Med Turtle Tuff Splashproof Halogen Lamp

Its been months and it still hasnt given out

Packaged in a bubble bag. Lucky the bulb turned on, should have been in an outer box.

I bought this for my sons turtles and he loves it says that the turtles come up and check it out splashing around

I have purchased three of these already. The first one lasted a very long time (6+ months), the second unfortunately only lasted about 2-3 months. Ive hard the 3rd one for about 3 months now and I am hoping itll last a long time. The glass on the bulb is very sturdy and thick which puts me at ease in case any water happens to splash on it.

I have purchased one of these bulbs almost a 1 year ago, and it just blew out today. Did a great job of giving off heat. Will be using again. Also have dealt with ZooMed customer service before and they were excellent.

So far so good. Compact little bulb that packs a lot of heat. My turtles love it. My last water proof bulb from another company, exploded all over my turtles and tank. I was so glad they were not hurt. What a mess to clean up. This one appears very durable. Will keep you informed.

Lots of people complain that these dont last very long. I have 2 of these lights for 2 different setups and after 6 months had to replace my first bulb. Well see how long my replacement lasts, but the original bulbs lasted longer that I would have expected them.

Easy to use and store. The turtles just love the food. That makes me very happy.
