I needed to better organize my sockets to put in a tool box in my Jeep. Put a set of reguar and deep sockets, along with a few torx sockets. I got the 1/4 and 3/8 sizes a d they both work great.

Ive purchased quite a bit of these to hold all of my sockets, various attachments and crowsfoot wrenches. Overall the quality of the product is great. They do what they are intended for. Having 3 colors helps to quickly identify the needed sets. The ball detents will hold your sockets upside down, however larger sockets as well as the 1/2 deep well sockets are not as secure. Obviously they are very heavy sockets so its not a major concern. The product itself is great, Ive spent a few hundred dollars to purchase about 30 of these. Overall the product is great, I havent used them much so we shall see how the plastic clips hold up. Id give a full 5 stars if the 1/2 clips felt more secure. These are pretty costly but worth it to know when youre missing a tool and keeping things organized. I do wish that you could buy a three pack of 1 size versus getting all 3 sizes. I dont know of anyone that has exactly the same number of drive tools... the cost of 1 rail is half the price of the three pack.

Love the quality of the product. It was delivered to the wrong address but the tracking said it was delivered on or near my front porch. I received it two days later.

These are great socket holders...I use blue, red and black so far...About 12 so far. I use Blue for SAE, Red for metric and Black for impact...The detents on the male holders are strong and springy and hold sockets even if the rack is moved quickly or turned upside-down. Thats even if the female detent receiver on the socket seems worn as found with many heavily used impact sockets. I just love the organization...My 6 pt, 12 pt, SAE and Metric sockets all have homes...I use others for Torx and specialty attachents...Cant say enough... A+

I bought this to use with my existing pegboard. The first thing I noticed is that as soon as you hang it on the pegboard, the plastic end cap comes loose. The end caps slide down to far over the piece. Ideally the opening in the middle of the metal should stuff where the endcap starts but that’s not the case so the end cap comes off every time you hang it up. Without those end caps, the bits will slide off the entire metal piece. They are not snug at all so I don’t have much faith that they will actually stay put for very long. It will be annoying to have to constantly do that.

[NOTE: I purchased this product/wrote this review when it was being sold for twenty-nine bucks- which was high already. I now see it listed for forty! As much as I like the product, I would not pay forty bucks for em if they were made of solid gold!.] O-K, I had tried some socket rails from that cheap Chinese tool place [Rhymes with arbor eight]- I mean, how can you screw up something as simple as a socket rail, right? Well, that place can! I needed something else, FAST, for my portable toolbox, as the 80 or so sockets I carry in it were becoming a mess. I didnt want any plastic crap; and I wanted something which would be space efficient, to fit in my skinny socket & ratchet box. Enter these Olsa Tools socket rails. At first, I was put-off by the price- I mean, your tool organizers shouldnt be worth as much or more than the tools that they will be holding, right? But after looking around a bit, I kept coming back to these. I liked the way they look; and I liked the fact that you can buy extra clips for them (Albeit, at extortionist prices), because they NEVER (They being any socket rail manufacturer) give you enough clips on the 1/4 and 3/8 rails.... So I bit the bullet. Well, let me tell you, I LOVE these things! The clips slide easily on the rails, with or without sockets; They look GREAT; The sockets go on and off the clips easily, yet they are held securely, so that they do not fall off. The aluminum rails are sufficiently heavy to be quite durable. Although the clips are plastic, they seem sturdy enough- hopefully they will last. In short,as the other reviews state, these are simply the BEST socket rails I have ever seen. I just wish that they would sell all of the sizes seperately; and that the prices were more reasonable. I think (if Im not mistaken) that these are made in Murica [USA], so naturally, you make something in a country which has the second highest corporate income taxes in the world; high cost of doing business; and very high labor costs, it is going to cost way more than necessary. These things are simple enough that they could be made anywhere, easily for a third or less of the price. As much as I love em, I do think that they are ridiculously priced- so as to discourage most non-pros from buying them. But I am glad that I bought them, and will be buying more in the future (You cant go back....). But Cmon! $7 just for a little baggy with 6 extra clips in it?! I do wish Olsa Tools great success with these, and do hope that they will lower the price in the future, as well as offer these in various colors, such as green, blue and gold. (Not only for aesthetics, but that way, you could use one color for metric sockets; one for standard, etc.). In time, I guess Ill get over having to spend nearly $80 bucks to organize 80 sockets (In a toolbox which is older than I am!)- Im sure that my 25 year old Craftsman sockets appreciaye it though, and I have to say, these things really fancy-up my otherwise crappy portable tool set! Most of all though, my sockets are readily and easily accessible, which is the important thing, and theyre not falling all over the place and getting lost, nor ending up loose in my toolbox. tl;dr version: A quality (albeit expensive) product which works great.

Would be nice if these were magnetic. Not sure if it because of the weight of my socket set but they always tip over in my drawer

These have no equal on the market. Completely convertible to hold whatever mix of sockets you want by changing the individual clips, and the ball bearing clips make getting the sockets on and off easy, but the sockets will not fall off. They are literally perfect for the application.

Long time mechanic, these are cheaper then the tools truck and are good quality product. Have at least a dozen of these now easily interchange sockets and clips. Probably will added more soon again. Highly recommend!
