I have 6 or 7 of these socket rails. They work well, except for the larger/heavier 1/2 drive impact sockets. Those fall off sometimes. But they are nice to be able to cut down to the right length and grab a whole rail of your box and bring those over to wherever youre working. No more going back and forth guessing the right size. Kinda pricey considering you can get steel spring clip cheapies for 0.99$ from harbor freight, but the anodized colors are nice for identifying metric/SAE

The very first line of the ad (above) says Olsa Tools Socket Organizer Trays | 6 Piece 3 Row SAE & Metric Socket Holder... So, correct me if Im wrong... That DOES say 6 piece, right?? And that would be one of the more important reasons that I bought this set... They really are very nice, and well designed... BUT I DID NOT GET 6 PIECES... I GOT 3 PIECES... Id like to know where my OTHER 3 pieces are at... There are a few other sets of similiar socket organizers on here offering 6 pieces for a similiar price... What little GREMLIN that it was telling me to add these 3 pieces out of 6 advertised to my cart, I may never know... But, like most other men in their 50s, I have quite a few MORE sockets than what these 3 rails are going to hold for $27... So, will somebody be sending me the other 3 rails, as advertised, or must I spend another $27 to get the other 3 rails that shouldve been in the package in the first place??? (That would make OLSA executives happy, Im sure)... Should I send these back, and pick another brand with 6 rails??? Should I ???take ONE for the team??? I havent decided yet, but I will update when i finger it out, for sure... GOOD DAY...

I bought a set in blue and a set in red. Im torn, because a part of me wishes they were 2-3 longer. Then another part of me wishes maybe they were 1.5 shorter. Longer to fit more sockets on them, shorter due to the layout of the toolbox drawer. Something to be mindful of. The hight of the rail + the clips + my deep well sockets (Husky circa 2000) are too tall to stand the sockets up, forcing me to lay them over eating up valuable drawer space. I have a 26 Husky toolbox. If I had a larger toolbox my gripe about how short these rails were would be pointless (as those are often deeper) and the sockets would likely stand up due to the drawers being taller. The quality, the fit, the finish all nice. There is a part of me that wishes the ends werent just rubber boots, but something a bit more study. I ran a socket on and actually knocked the rubber end off. Some hard-plastic with a small set screw would be perfect! FWIW, I did end up dropping a loaded rail. All the sockets stayed on!

Does a pretty good job of holding onto heavy sockets, but the rubber end caps are not sufficient to stop them from sliding off the end of the rail. Perhaps this is intended? I put machine screws through the pre-drilled holes in the ends to stop sockets from sliding off and that works very well.

End caps could be better, price Is decent. I looked at other options. These seemed best to me. But still room for improvement.

These are the best socket organizer I have used. Easy to attach and detach. Multiple colors help to organize even more. Metric on one color Imperial on another makes finding the right socket quick and easy.

I’m not a professional, but I have good quality tools for DIY projects. I’d been using another well known brand name socket organizer, but after several years of use, the clip retention began to fail, and sliding them up/down the bar became difficult & stiff. I decided to try this Olsa 1/2” organizer solely based on reviews, & I’m extremely impressed! Easy, fluid movement of the clips, & the socket retention is phenomenal, holding both shallow & deep sockets very well. Although aluminum, it is rigid & sturdy, & supports the weight of a full set of sockets. I liked it so much I asked for a couple more of the 3pk (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) for Father’s Day!!! The color options are a bonus as I use 1 color for my SAEs, & another color for my Metrics - it helps me organize, & pick up the correct sockets at a glance. Plan to add more sockets in the future, & this Olsa organizer will be my first choice for organization!

I bought a large socket set years ago from a big box retailer. The case they came in did not hold them secure so every time Id open it many of the sockets were floating around the case and out of order. These Olsa socket holders are a very high quality set. I bought the set of three (one for each size sockets). I liked them so much, and had so many sockets to organize, that I bought two more sets of three. Now all my sockets are in order and stored neatly in my tool chest. Very highly recommended. If I had to find something to constructively criticize, it might be simply that the rubber end pieces might eventually crack and not stay on. If that were to happen, the socket holders could theoretically fall off. But they dont slide on their own so I dont think that will be a problem. I really like them. I would like to maybe see different colors of anodized aluminum (maybe a blue set?). That way I could have SAE as one color and Metric as another. Five stars and a repeat buyer. Looking at their other offerings now for even more tool organization.
