> 3 dayI finally found a repeater that gives me full use of my 5ghz router all over my home. Gaming, streaming is excellent now. Some lags at times but only when playing a online game that their servers are being hit heavily such as Modern Online. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayThis is a great price for a what this device does. I have a 2 story 2100 sq ft home with 2 bedrooms and a large bonus room upstairs and a very open floor plan downstairs for the kitchen and living room, but the Master bedroom is downstairs and somewhat tucked away. I started working from home recently so I relocated the router (Asus RT-N56U) from the bonus room to the MBR downstairs so I could plug directly into the router via ethernet cable. It didnt take long for my 2 teenage daughters, whose bedrooms are upstairs, to start complaining about the Wi-Fi not working. We have the standard 60 Mbps Charter cable modem connection, which is plenty for everyones needs as long as you have a good connection. I purchased the Extender with free shipping via Prime. The set up was a breeze, you basically initially will plug the range extender into an outlet in the same room as the router. Then find the extender in your Wi-Fi networks list on your device. Then go to [...] and configure it per the instructions (basically you rename it to whatever your main network is and add _EXT or whatever you want to call it). Once it is set up, unplug it and take it to the area of the house near where the Wi-fi starts to get weak on your device(s) but strong enough to talk to the range extender and plug it into an outlet there. I would use the same password for the extender as you do for the main router so your device can automatically switch to the stronger signal as you move around the home. This literally took me about 10 minutes to set up, if that. I set it up in the upstairs hallway outlet that overlooks the open downstairs living area. My kids are now getting roughly 20-30Mbps upstairs, where before they were getting 1-5Mbps and often no signal at all. Great investment that gets the job done.

> 3 dayThank you for this lovely little gadget. We can now have a downstairs Roku working with good connectivity (as compared to fair before, with a lot of buffering).Real easy to set up. Just plug in near your broadband router wait for blue light . Then move 40-50 ft away and plug in. Then use smart phone or iPad to find your broadband ext and enter password of your internet . Your done . Do all devices the same way. Adds a bar or two to your weak signal areas in your house . Reasonably priced .
