> 3 dayMy husband got me this to cut stained glass on. I waited to leave a review until I had used it. For my purposes it works great. A glass cutter does not leave deep cuts on a mat most of the time, as its only meant to score the glass, its not supposed to cut all of the way through but its nice to have just in case and provides a nice work space, while protecting my craft table. I appreciated the follow up from the company with clear instructions on how to care for my cutting mat, I might have stored it improperly otherwise. I did not notice a strong odor with my purchase as others have noted but I am not sensitive to smells, with all of the chemicals I use in making glass and jewelry pieces, I really cant be picky about it, so I have no advice on that. If I were not using it for one specific purpose I can see it being useful for other things, such as trimming metal, paper and assembling models. I think this is a great product for any crafter.

Greater than one weekCumple su cometido. Creo que es de calidad aceptable para su precio. Yo corto muchos labels y cartones. Mejoró mi trabajo: lo hace más fácil y preciso

Greater than one weekWould like to let you know I love my new cutting board, its just the right size and am really happy that it heals itself. The last one ordered from a well known fabric center on line and it was not self healing which I didnt realize for a while. So seeing this one on line I was careful when I ordered it, but am very happy that I did, and at that price. Thanks Again would recommend you to any of mt quilting friends. Hope

> 3 dayThis is a very nice cutting mat. Size is appropriate and the quality is great. My only complaint was the very strong odor upon opening for the first time. I suggest opening it outside and letting it air out for an hour or so. Smells like paint fumes, but it goes away.

> 3 dayIt is nice to cut your fabrics for sewing. Makes it easier that you do not have to watch the scissors as closely as I did before. You still have to watch where your cutting, but not as closely.

Greater than one weekSo far, so good. I havent used it too often since it arrived, but when I have, it was a great aid to create 180 degree angle cuts, but it allows me to create 30, 45, 60, and 90 degree angles, as well. Other markings on the the mat ensure I have a nice product at the end. I personally have not tried it, yet, but you could easily make a 1 or 2 frame using the guides that are found running across the diagonals of the mat (the corners are 45 degrees which make a nice fit for a frame). The one side Ive used, has only been used a few times, and I can see some cutlines. I use a metal ruler and either a #11 xacto knife or rotary cutter. I dont know which, or if both, caused the visible marks with a very, very very slight raised feeling. I did find small pieces of a mylar blanket embedded in two of the cuts. Because of this, I will need to be a little more gentle with the pressure I use, depending on the material cut. I mainly cut paper, cardboard, cardstock (light and medium), and mylar. In the future, I will need to remember the pressure Im using, and I think I should refrain from the rotary cutter. I couldnt give it it 5 stars, for only one reason. All the markings are in inches, subdivided by 1/4 inch. I like to be very precise when crafting, or building, and would have appreciated english units on one side, and metric units on the other side. If I find the time, I will probably need to add metric markings with a sharpie (hoping it will stay on the board and not smear). Until then, if I need more accurate and precise measurements, Ill have to use my ruler in conjunction with the mat. Over all, with my current limited use, I am satisfied with the mat. I love the angle measurements that are included on both sides. Metric units would have earned it 5 stars.

> 3 dayI was shocked at how thick the cutting surface is. It really is a completely reversible mat. It came carefully packed in a flat box so it arrived in great condition.
