> 3 dayThis was a lot larger than I had anticipated (though that was stupid on my part for not paying close attention to the dimension), but it works great, and actually is perfect for what I need. Because it is so large, I can actually use it - more or less - as a table top for all my other craft equipment (I do 3D paper crafts); this way, they wont scratch up my actual table top. It heals quickly (most of the time, I cannot even tell I had made a cut), and is perfect what it is supposed to do.

> 3 dayGood price for what you get. The only thing I would worry about is if the yellow lines end up blurring over time because those don’t seem to be part of the self-healing component of the product. We’ll see how it goes the longer I use it. If it fades to the point of unusability, I will update this review

> 3 dayI bought this 2.5 years ago. Why am I writing a review now? Because I recently had an issue with the product. I remembered having bought this due to all the great reviews and great price so I reached out to the company and explained my issue. They replaced my mat in less than a week! This is a company that truly stands behind its product. Dont hesitate to buy it. Product works great and they stand by it.

> 3 dayThe things I like best: the numbering doesnt start at the edge as Ive seen on other mats. Double-sided means it should. last twice as long. Only thing Id change: some line differentiation extending beyond the grid - if you are using the0 line to square, you cant clearly see the fractions.

> 3 dayI love this thing, but I wanted to take this space to warn others: DO NOT put anything hot on it. At all. Im not taking any points off it because the instructions do actually tell you this, but I didnt anticipate how little itd take to ruin it. I set down a microwaved TV dinner on it, in its plastic container and on a thick paper towel, and 10 minutes later the mat would no longer lay flat. I used a powerful hair dryer on it and left it under some heavy books for a day, but it was never the same. Ended up trashing it and getting another. Again, no points off; that was my fault. But boy, when the instructions say no heat, THEY MEAN NO HEAT.

> 3 dayI use a cutting mat daily to cut card stock and chipboard so before long its becomes rough because of all the cuts. So far not this mat. I cant even see a cut on this mat it heals so completely...Im amazed it is still nice and smooth. I like this so much better than the Olfa and X-acto mats Ive used. I also like the size of this mat...not too big, not too small. Alnd, it stays in place when youre using it. It doesnt slide around on the desktop like my previous mats. Nice for circular cuts.

> 3 dayI really like having lines on both side of the mat. I am currently moving my sewing room so I have not had much time to actually use the mat. As a quilter it is almost unbelievable that a mat will last 10 years but you can also tell it is a quality product. Just wanted to add that when I first took the mat out of the clear paper that was on it -there was a rotten smell. On the paper it said you could wash it with equal parts of white vinegar and water, then wipe it dry. I did not happen to have any white vinegar at the time so I put it out in my open garage for a few days and the smell went away. So if you get one that smells dont get upset once it is aired it will be ok.
