Breathed new life int my old friend....(makita) Fit well and was a 3.5 minute replacement....easy as pie... The hook pads stay on great.... I highly recommend this replacement part

Says it fits a bo5021 makita random orbit sander, however the 3 mounting holes are about 1/16 too far apart.Can not mount on to sander.

The screw holes that come pre-drilled in this pad are for countersunk for flat-head screws. However my Makita has round head screws with fixed washers and they wont fit in the provided holes. Youll need to countersink the holes with a brad point or forstner bit. Not a big deal but it is clearly not designed for the Makita sander.

Ive had my makita orbital sander for year and the original base was cracking. I thought Id have to buy a new sanders, but when purchasing sanding discs for the sander, a link came up for this base. It fits perfectly, all the sanding disc adhere great, the edge of the new sanding pad do not interfere and leave marks like my old one. It was quick and east to install. I unscrewed the original 3 screws and attached the new pad with the same original screws. Easy peasy. It took less than ten minutes. I do recommend this replacement pad. Great product.
