Saved me $$ not having to replace a perfectly good sander!

Replacement part fit my Makita just fine

I got this to replace the current sanding pad on a Makita rotary sander. The pad backing is made of cheap plastic and it lasted about 3 uses before the plastic wore down and the screws were no longer securing it to the unit. My takeaway? Pay a little more for a better replacement.

Needed to be fabricated to fit sander it was designed for

I used this pad for a few minutes and then it flew off after the screws had sheared through destroying the pad immediately. Buy from another seller for better quality.

Does not fit Makita model B05010. Check your model carefully and read the reviews before purchasing. Because of it’s inexpensive price, I bought this as an experiment - FAIL. Also, this unit seems cheaply made and I do not believe it would have held up for more than 5 minutes to the kind of heavy use you can inflict on a Makita. Not inexpensive...CHEAP.
