Greater than one weekThe text in the ad for this Makita hook and loop pad says that it will fit a Makita BO3050 ROS. It will, if you enlarge the holes for the 3 screws. The three attachment holes (as opposed to the 8 air holes) on the hook and loop side are too small. I didnt buy this pad to have to drill it out. It would probably not look good if I did that. Drill bits dont drill flat-bottomed holes. Forstner bits would do that, but I have none that small. The large hole on the backside of this pad is 1 and 3/32 inch in diameter, which is the right size for the Makita bearing box cap on the BO3050 random orbit sander. Also, as Amy G. has pointed out in another Amazon review, the three screw holes in the hard plastic backing of the hook and loop pad are not in the right position. They are too far from the center of the pad by about a millimeter or two. I did attempt to elongate these with a round file. A true Makita pad has holes for the three screws that are more like slots than perfectly round holes. There is no need to mess with the elongated holes on a true Makita pad. So, to make this pad fit a Makita BO3050, you will need to enlarge the 3 holes on the hook and loop side and you will need to elongate the same holes on the back side of the pad. I cannot recommend this product.

Greater than one weekI was impressed with the quality of the product, but when attaching it to the sander (using the same screws that held the original), the holes were too small. Drill the holes out will fix the product, but I didnt want to do the drilling.

> 3 dayThe holes on this replacement pad LOOKED right, until I tried to screw it onto the sander and the holes were misaligned just enough to keep it from screwing on right. Since my sander is one of the ones listed in the description, the only way to know was to try. Had to return the pad and buy a new sander. NOT recommended.
