The original holes did Not match, so I had to do some round file work to make it fit.

Installing took some time, need to redrill the attachment holes. They were not aligned with my sander base.

holes in the pad do not line up with holes on sander and yes I ordered the correct pad!

The plastic components melted and fused to the sander head within 5 minutes of use on my Makita 5041. This completely jammed the motor and prevented operation. Had to remove using a utility knife and a flat head screw driver in order to pry it off the sander head. What an awful thing to sell! (Furthermore, the recessed holes for the screws did not fit the washers and required modification before installation).

Wasnt a prefect fit but got it to work.

Works like new.
