> 24 hourThe screw holes that come pre-drilled in this pad are for countersunk for flat-head screws. However my Makita has round head screws with fixed washers and they wont fit in the provided holes. Youll need to countersink the holes with a brad point or forstner bit. Not a big deal but it is clearly not designed for the Makita sander.

> 24 hourThese are awesome replacement pads for sanders. The price is around $8 which is about half the price of the original. They are great replacements. I replaced the original for my Makita sander. I bought a few since I had several large sanding projects. Just make sure your sander has the same screw pattern.

> 24 hourDon’t waste your money like I did. The “hook and loop” pad won’t hold a hook and loop backed piece of sandpaper. I have to find one by another vendor because I already installed this on my sanded and don’t have the original packaging to return it. Absolute junk. I’d give it zero stars if I could. Doesn’t exactly line up with the screw holes on my makita bo5010 either.

> 24 hourHad to shim 3 screws to get head to tighten down. Worked okay on lower settings but screw holes enlarged from vibration at high speed and unit fell off
