> 3 dayShow Sheen is a great product for spritzing on your dogs body after a bath and before the blow dry to add a nice shine to the coat and help avoid tangles when brushing and blow drying. It does have a pleasant scent, but it is subtle and not overpowering. Im sure our dogs appreciate the scent; it doesnt bother my nose like walking down the detergent aisle in the grocery store does. It makes such a nice shine I even spritz my own hair with it!

> 3 dayWorks amazingly well. So spritz this on the usual tangles, and it OPENS them up. You can save the hair length, rather than having to cut your dogs hair. Friend of mine has a Spaniel, and shes a rough and tumble girl, with all the long leg hairs. This works a charm. 10 stars. If I could. Lol

Greater than one weekWell, it really worked. I have two long haired German Shepherds that get covered in burrs, especially on their bellys. Being a sensitive area, it was impossible to comb burrs and stickers out. I worked small amounts of this stuff into their fur with my hands and the burrs slid right out! When dry they were not oily, which was a concern. My boys look and feel great.

09-06-2025I especially like that the Show Sheen made our horses mane and tail easier to brush. It detangles but also conditions to make the mane and tail feel and look softer. It also helps when applied before the finishing brush, to easily remove dust from the horses coat. It smells great, too, and not too strong of a scent.

A Legacy More Than 125 Years in the Making
Every day at Absorbine is a celebration of a legacy that began with a truly extraordinary couple: Mary Ida and Wilbur F. Young.
A labor of love, they set out to find an alternative to the common 19th-century practice of “blistering” lame horses. Knowing there had to be a better, more humane way, Mary Ida developed a special blend of herbs into an essential oils tincture, and Wilbur rounded out the formula with a few more natural ingredients using knowledge he gained working part time for a pharmacist.
