> 3 dayI have a Tibetan terrier and a lab, I used this on both. Tibetans have long hair that can easily mat and the white can get dirty very fast when playing outdoors. After bathing and grooming, I did a finish spray and brushed through, her coat was very soft, smooth and shiny. I decided to use on my lab, same results very shiny and soft. After playing outdoors, this product repelled dirt and was easy to brush through, remained shiny and soft, and both continued to smell good.

> 3 dayThis product is highly recommended by owners of dog and equine show winners. Im not showing my dog but I do want her to look and feel her best. Though she is still a puppy, her breed tends to mat so I wanted to be prepared. My puppy has not matted yet so I cant speak to the effectiveness of this product for that. I spray a little bit on before brushing and puppy looks nice when Im done, but she also looks nice after brushing without any product. Later in the day after using, puppys hair feels slightly sticky...not terribly so, but enough that I notice. Im also not getting the shine ppl talk about either. Puppy will grow and her breed has a coat that changes dramatically over the 1st 2 or 3 years. Right now, the product is meh. Perhaps later, it might change.

> 3 dayI am a groomer and use this a de matting spray as well as a finishing spray. Works well, if you use to much in one spot or on much silkier coats this may look greasy. I will never use any other dematting or finishing spray. Has worked better than Davis products as well as another $50 de matting creme spray a associate of mine had. Also smells light and clean!

A Legacy More Than 125 Years in the Making
Every day at Absorbine is a celebration of a legacy that began with a truly extraordinary couple: Mary Ida and Wilbur F. Young.
A labor of love, they set out to find an alternative to the common 19th-century practice of “blistering” lame horses. Knowing there had to be a better, more humane way, Mary Ida developed a special blend of herbs into an essential oils tincture, and Wilbur rounded out the formula with a few more natural ingredients using knowledge he gained working part time for a pharmacist. The result of their teamwork is Absorbine Veterinary Liniment, which has been loved by horse owners for over 125 years.
