10-06-2025I use this on my double coated Samoyeds and I love it! It makes them much easier to comb out and there hair is so soft afterwards. I also appreciate that the scent of this is soft and pleasant, unlike many other conditioning sprays I’ve tried.

> 3 dayI have read a lot of reviews on what I could use to tame down and smooth out my dogs nappy fur on her hocks. I have a long haired German Shepherd that use to have silky flowy hair until I spayed her. The drop in hotomones equals not so lustrous locks. Her hair became more dry. Her tail and hocks have hair that of you look at a single stand you can see a thousand little kinks in it. It became hard to brush threw and looked raggedy. This product made my brush just glide through with ease. I saturated her hair pretty good and the product dries fairly fast. It smells good. It is not greasy and a little goes a long way. After the product was completely dry her raggedy hair was extremely soft and I could run my fingers through it. It was also shinier. I will definitely being buying this again.

> 3 dayI bought this product for something other than what most people use it for I think. I have two corgis that absolutely love the snow. One has a regular coat which isn’t a problem, but the other is a fluffy who comes in with snowballs stuck to his undercarriage. They clearly annoy him and he obsessively freaks out and tries to chew them off of himself unless we stick him in a warm bath to melt them right away. We found that a quick spritz of ShowSheen about 30 minutes before going outside does the trick. The snow doesn’t stick and he is free to frolic without the consequences. Absolutely fantastic!

A Legacy More Than 125 Years in the Making
Every day at Absorbine is a celebration of a legacy that began with a truly extraordinary couple: Mary Ida and Wilbur F. Young.
A labor of love, they set out to find an alternative to the common 19th-century practice of “blistering” lame horses. Knowing there had to be a better, more humane way, Mary Ida developed a special blend of herbs into an essential oils tincture, and Wilbur rounded out the formula with a few more natural ingredients using knowledge he gained working part time for a pharmacist.
