> 3 dayGreat addition to my new Yamaha RX-V383 5.1ch receiver. I bought it because I got a new stand for my TV with a square glass base sitting on top of the receiver blocking the vents, Not to mention these AV receivers dont have cooling fans. I can say this should vastly improve my receivers lifespan. The instructions are a little hard to understand but I keep it in Smart mode and it turns on every couple of minutes, runs for a few minutes and turns off. Its a few inches longer than my receiver front to back and sticks off the ends but it was either the 17 or the 12 and that was way too small. Very good value for the price.

> 3 dayThis thing works flawless, is super quiet (silent most of the time), is reasonably priced, and protects a much more expensive piece of equipment. Couldnt be happier with this purchase.

> 3 dayI own 3 of these units, Theyre all working fine and perfect fit for Marantz Receiver but I wish they make other models that fits on other brand receivers as well

> 3 daySystem works, well made construction, and is very quiet. However, I feel they should have options for units to move Higher volume of air, 250 CFM+ to use in a rack/equipment closet for big amps for front exhaust. In equipment closet 4x7, I have an open 72u skelton rack—no sides or back. Cool air flows in from back side and there is exhaust system in front of rack at ceiling to pullout hot air out of the room. I did this approach for front exhaust to have since all the wires in back would interfere with air flow and want to get the heat out as fast as possible. I use a S10 on top of processor and one S10 on top of Monolith 7 Amp which is stacked on top of another Monolith 7 Amp—amps are on separate shelves with about 1.5 inch space between them. Thus, have top to bottom S10, processor, S10, amp, amp.—. All this takes up bottom of rack. Top half of rack is used for UPS, media devices, automation, etc. I use the smart mode on both S10 and both turn on and ramp as per independent temperature measurements. I am still taking temperature measurements on the bottom amp to see if I need another S10 to keep it cool.

> 3 dayI have bought the S8, 9, and 10s. NO COMPLAINTS! They do exactly what they are supposed to, whether its on a timer, or self regulating blower, or being ultra-quiet, or directional exhaust, or fits perfectly on an AVR or amplifier. NO COMPLAINTS! NO broken units when arrived. Easy to install. Instructions are easy to read and understand. Dont hesitate. Just buy one.

> 3 daySo this works amazing but I can not set it on auto smart mode as high speed for fan is to loud. Instead I run it on the other auto mode and it just runs on the next setting down from high. The build quality is great I honestly dont know if you can get a quieter fan. But there is no way you can run this on high fan speed and enjoy a movie, tv, or music. Works for me on the next setting down from high temps dropped alot does its job.

> 3 dayPaired with a high heat Marantz receiver the auto heat/temperature setting works just as it should. Such a simple setup and matching the size/width to your receiver will make it look like it was meant to be there!
