Greater than one weekThis is my second unit. I have the one that was exhausting towards the back. I needed one for my other receiver to vent to the front, and this is what I needed. Auto on and its quiet is what I really like about these units. I think even at the 3/4 speed, if youre watching a movie, shouldnt be noticable. I keep mine at 50% and its working out great.

> 3 dayOur Yamaha amp would overheat and shut down after only 15 or 20 minutes of 70-80 percent volume. We put this cooling unit on top of the amp and it never overheats any more. Perfect!

> 3 dayI have allot of there single fans for my avr but got a new 11.2 avr and it gets warm so I thought I would try this. It keeps it deal cool all the time. Im going to get more of them for 6 exturnal amps that goes with my avr.

> 3 dayGreat addition to my new Yamaha RX-V383 5.1ch receiver. I bought it because I got a new stand for my TV with a square glass base sitting on top of the receiver blocking the vents, Not to mention these AV receivers dont have cooling fans. I can say this should vastly improve my receivers lifespan. The instructions are a little hard to understand but I keep it in Smart mode and it turns on every couple of minutes, runs for a few minutes and turns off. Its a few inches longer than my receiver front to back and sticks off the ends but it was either the 17 or the 12 and that was way too small. Very good value for the price.

> 3 dayThis does a good job controll temp but it is much lauded than I expected. As the AVR heats up this speeds up and is noisy. Guess I’ll keep it since the box got tossed. Guess I don’t know how 26db should sound.

> 3 dayI got two of these, one for a Yamaha A2080 that I previously cooked the power amp on and one for my Onkyo Integra M-506RS power amp that I didn’t cook. Both sit unobtrusively over the top vents, suck up the hot air and blow it out the front vents. The auto temp control works as it should. Some complain about the noise level but I set them at 1/2 speed and can’t hear them unless the room is silent. They’ll run a bit longer but so what? If you’ve got your precious gear in rack, audio stack or with less than sufficient air movement wherever you’ve put it, get this product. The added protection is cheap at the price. And they work.

Greater than one weekI use this machinne to keep in control temperature in the AVR-X8500. This AVR has 13 amp working and it has 4 fans itself. Until now AVRs fans never has been activated because the AIRCOM S10 works perfectly.

Greater than one weekThe unit is excellent! Easy to operate. It has 4 blowers speeds but it works so well it never goes beyond the second setting. Its silent at this level. If the music was so loud you needed the highest setting you never hear the fan over the music anyway. I very much like that it turns on by itself, adjusts itself as needed and then it shuts down automatically. It worked flawlessly right out of the box. Very attractive as well.

> 3 dayThe automated operation is smooth and give me so much piece of mind. I have it over a Marantz SR5012. It doesnt match the depth size but thats fine. I got the front blower and it is working just perfect. You can set the fan speed to the noise level youre willing to have and then activate the automated operation with the thermal sensor. You dont even realize it is there as long as the speakers are doing something. On total silence of course you will hear it. Just get it!
