I really like the HD quality and keyboard on this chromebook. However, the 12 hour battery life thing is false. I can usually geetbetween 5-6 hours on it; closer to 7 if I wait until it completely dies.

Excellent, and at under $300, amazing. Does everything I need. Very good screen; well built feel; the rose metal $10 upgrade adds more than that amount of aesthetic pleasure for me. True, the good speakers on the bottom can be muffled if on a soft surface like a bedspread, and true, some people might need an SD card reader (cheap USB add-on if needed), but the value for the price seems the best of the several Chromebooks I took too much time assessing before deciding on this one. For sure, you will be pleased with this purchase.

I got this Chromebook for my daughter for Christmas and she really likes it. Ive have a Samsung Chromebook for 3-4 years now and really like it for simple use. My daughter uses hers (This Acer Chromebook) for watching Netflix or YouTube videos. Shell also look stuff up on it. Just simple tasks in general. Weve never used the google docs, or google sheets (whatever that is), etc type features. I have downloaded small things to google files then attached them to emails with no issues.

Its fast, easy to use, and unbelievably inexpensive. Also--its SO pretty. Highly recommend.
