laptop works fine, runs everything in good quality, only down side is the heating issue, but it can be fix with undervolting the cpu and gpu using throttlestop app, look for instruction on youtube, went from 90 degrees celsius to 60 while gaming

Una muy buena computadora, buena calidad del producto, lo único malo que veo es el tener que comprar un disco duro externo

El motivo principal de mi laptop es para la edición de video. Se desempeña muy bien inclusive con videos de resolución 4k. Es.una maravilla que le puedas instalar un segundo n disco duro. Los únicos peros que le pongo es que no cuenta con thunderbolt y que el disco duro que viene de fábrica (tipo m2) es de 256 GB.

Ill leave my original review below. After my initial support/repair request and review on Amazon, an Acer rep got in contact with me and apologized for the issues. They overnighted a new laptop. So far so good! In addition they extend my warranty for the issues and took care of shipping. Im really pleased with the service I received after my initial issues.

Great computer for the money.. I personally added a 2tb hdd. Do wish the battery life was better but overall I great computer

I’ll start by saying I purchased this product on sale, I payed $1011 and for that price you can’t beat it! I mainly payed for the processing power as this has an i7 8750H, Six cores 12 threads! This laptop makes super easy work of writing papers, powerpoints and browsing the web! I’m sure it can do some great photo and video editing as well! I utilize the GPU when I’m between classes and ahead of my assignments, just launch a game and I’m set! Overall excellent laptop for the price I payed! Battery life isn’t good but that’s expected, I get about 3-4 hrs on battery with battery saver on at 50% brightness.

I love this laptop. Im thrilled with the speed, graphics, gaming and overall features. I have added an additional hard disk to supplement the SSD. The only downside at all is the battery life. I dim the screen all the way and get maybe 1.5 hours from the battery while not gaming or streaming. Its worth it for the overall speed and use as long as you know what to expect.
