> 3 dayGreat computer for the price but does get hot. Cooling pad significantly helps with heat playing games. Fans on high with the cooling pad is very loud. Keyboard feels great. Would buy again despite the down falls.

16-11-2024Great value and quality for $999. I have upgraded the storage and RAM, this thing is a powerhouse that can run the top games at medium-high settings. 144hz screen looks amazing. The laptop does get hot when playing certain games or running at full capacity, but I used XTU to turn down the throttles a bit. I also purchased some thermal compound to improve the heat reduction. Perfect for mobile gaming, first Acer purchase, will likely purchase again.

Greater than one weekI really love this laptop. The only reason why I’m giving it 3 starts if because how can you give someone a laptop where the graphics card doesn’t work? I know a friend who knows computer stuff so don’t try and send another laptop where it doesn’t work or send it back where you couldn’t fix.

Greater than one weekThis laptop is great for gaming, plays WoW perfect. Battery life is poor. Heats up quite quickly, even with an additional laptop cooling pad. Overall Id give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

> 3 dayThe SSD is a little small, but the added space for additional drive is nice. Decent performance for a laptop, plays Arma acceptably but not at high settings.

> 3 dayLaptop overheats while gaming reaching temperatures of 97 Celsius. I sent the laptop to Acer for repairs. They sent it back saying it was fixed that they replaced the motherboard. I tested it and to my surprise it was overheating again. I contacted Acer again and once again they told me to sent it to them for rapairs. I sent it for for second time hoping this would be the last time. After I got it back once again it keeps overheating. I contact them and asked them for a refund or a replacement. They told me they dont do refunds that 97 Celsius is ok even though I have sent it to them for that reason twice. They want me to sent it back for repairs a 3rd time. At this point Acer has used my laptop more than me. I use predator sense plus a cooling pad but it doesnt help. Laptop still overheats.
