> 3 dayGreat value and quality for $999. I have upgraded the storage and RAM, this thing is a powerhouse that can run the top games at medium-high settings. 144hz screen looks amazing. The laptop does get hot when playing certain games or running at full capacity, but I used XTU to turn down the throttles a bit. I also purchased some thermal compound to improve the heat reduction. Perfect for mobile gaming, first Acer purchase, will likely purchase again.

Greater than one weekThis is a great PC for the actual cost of it, I just had to replace the M.2 SSD drive for a bigger and faster one, the downsides of it would be that even having a GTX 1060 on it, you can only connect 1 external screen, and the other one would be that it reaches quite high temperatures when playing a game, therefore having spontaneous FPS drops.

> 3 dayThe first time I got this laptop, I found it a little bit laggy when I try to open the setting windows. I updated the driver of GPU then it became better but still noticeable laggy. So for the first few weeks, it worked well, I only use it to play the hero of the storm, it worked well. Unfortunately, when I started to play Battlefield 5, the experience became a nightmare. Inconsistent laggy keeps coming when I play this game. The frame speed dropped rapidly and made the game unable to play. Its a laptop with GTX1060 so there is no reason for it to perform such bad.

> 3 dayVery good plays most recent games at medium to ultra settings, battery life is about an hour but that’s to be expected because it’s so powerful. Best laptop at this price point. Comes with dual channel ram and a sata cable and a caddy ready for an ssd upgrade. Update! Had this for over 2 months and it is still going strong, just keep the fans on max so it does not overheat and keeps constant performance.

Greater than one weekIn general, it worked pretty good for gaming at decent settings, hardly experienced any issues except that it runs too hot, keyboard will actually burn your fingers while you are gaming, the fan will run LOUD as well but not keeping up with cooling the generated heat.

12-06-2025This is a fantastic laptop. The keyboard is very fluid, the screen is beautiful, and the CPU & GPU are extremely fast. Im loving the load times with the NMVe SSD as well. I researched laptops on Reddit for a few months before deciding on this one. For the money this will beat out most laptops <$1500. PredatorSense is pretty cool too in that you can overclock the GPU and increase fan speed super easy. Only two downsides so far that I see are no mini display port meaning I can only pull 60hz on a second monitor with HDMI. Its also a little on the heavier side. Two very small cons to a overall amazing computer.
