Bought on sale. A laptop with 8th gen i7, 256gb SSD, 16 gb ram, GTX 1060 graphics card for $999 is an amazing deal. The 144hz screen is sharp and a very rare feature at this price point, most are 60hz. The body is black aluminum with red backlights. It feels sturdy and looks great. The bloatware was minimal, I was able to uninstall in minutes. I have been playing the Division 2. I haven’t experienced any of the overheating issues described by other reviewers. I plan on cloning the 256ssd to a 1gb SSD for more adequate storage. This laptop is a no brainer, Costco doesn’t even have a deal this good.

This is the best you can get for the price. Ive had no problem running any games. It boots up super fast because of the SSD. Im not sure how people are having overheating problems. I havent had any, even running triple a games. Just be sure to set the fans to max and turn on coolboost through the predator sense if need be. I cant speak for durability because Ive only owned it for a month and a half but this is the best you can ask for in a laptop for this asking price.

Ive only had this computer for about a month almost and I keep getting a blue screen that shuts down and restarts my computer. This helps no one when you spend so much money on it. I work from home, trade options and lve stream on facebook and youtube. I thought it would help but I guess I have to send it back or have t repaired?? Work Stopped.

On daily basis my son use this compuyer to play games and watch movies

Love the laptop overall. But dont wonder to far from an electrical outlet, she eats the battery up. Materials are great, doesnt feel flimsy at all and boots super quick, under 15 seconds. Buy a cooler if you are thinking of using it for gaming, a $20 cooler makes a big difference.

Short story: I have a defective laptop, I have received false repairs, I have talked to seven customer support agents, and I have been given misinformation and a complete lack of assistance in getting my device replaced.

Before buying this laptop I couldnt play solitare. My previous laptop was an hp stream with an apple sticker on the back for some reason. Its version of windows was very strange and called the hp a MacBook air I didnt know what it meant, and I was angry that I couldnt play Microsoft solitare. Once I installed an app called solitare on its app store I was disappointed it wasnt solitare for Microsoft windows. Youre probably saying Its just solitare Its not just solitare…. Its solitare for Microsoft windows. When I was tired of this hp stream, I let my dog use it as a chew toy, but then he got electrocuted. It was a good chew toy for about 4 minutes. I went online to search for a new laptop, thinking to myself I could really use some solitare for Microsoft windows right now. Then I found this laptop, it was marketed as a gaming laptop. So I knew it would have to have solitare for Microsoft windows. When it came I was hooked on the design and feel. Backlit keyboard and such. I searched solitare in the start menu and there it was! Solitare for Microsoft windows! I played it and fell in love with this laptop. My niece wanted to play fortnite on it once, but I told him, its suppose to play solitare for Microsoft windows! He scoffed and turned away. This laptop is awesome playing solitare for Microsoft windows. Would recommend for anyone in the market for a laptop that can play solitare for Microsoft windows.

After 3 months of gaming on this thing I have to say its great considering its a laptop. I have been able to run games on max settings such as For Honor, Mordhau, Fortnite, Rocket League, Dead by Daylight, Sea of Thieves, and Forza Horizon 4. My only gripe is the battery. If you want to game on the go you wont have very long to do so at all and if you use the Predator Sense to increase fan speed to max and click the max overclock setting youll notice your battery is draining significantly after playing for a while. But all in all its a great gaming laptop for the price, plus you can just sync an Xbox One controller without the need for an adapter.
