it gets warm playing games i have the marks on my legs to prove it and you cant upgrade without voiding the warranty but its a really good value and ive been really happy with it and you can upgrade after 2 years and i highly recommend the assurance insurance

This is a fantastic system for gaming and/or 3D rendering.

Battery dies pretty quick as expected with such a performance oriented computer. I never received a code for call of duty as advertised so I would not put a lot of faith into that.

So far this laptop is doing basic things fine but whole reason I got this was to run Oculus rift since this claims to be VR ready. Rift software says everything is ok and meets requirements but there is no video coming from the games. Will spend few more hours but don’t want to waste more time and this will be returned. Such a waste of time.

Very nice. My husband helped me pick it out. We both game and he has one as well. We really like it and recommend a cooling pad

I use this mostly for MMO gaming and its capable of running everything I want to play at max settings (FWIW, I play FFXIV). It does get pretty hot during intense gaming sessions, but I use a lapdesk with built-in fans and it keeps it cool enough to actually play on my lap. Not much to say about it but IMO, no news is good news when it comes to computer equipment. It does exactly what I expected and havent had any surprises, so Im quite pleased.

Battery life sucks, but other than that, no complaints.

Gaming... 144hz screen but Overwatch in low resolution (full low) drop 2 or 3 times per game at 30fps during 10sec... 20 degrees in my room so its not the weather... Was sceptical to buy Acer. First and last time.

It was very good laptop but he is coming without CD ROOM
