I has this laptop for over a monte and Im really satisfied with my purchase. The only drawback is the battery life and the overheating. But for the price is a really powerful computer. It runs games like shadow of tomb raider at max settings with no issues at all

Extreme light bleeding

I ordered this laptop in nov2019, and is not even apr2020 and stop working.

This laptops performace is unbelieveable. The battery life is respectable considering the strength of this machine. The SSD is fast, nothing to complain about really, but when it comes to the screen (in my case) it feels buttery smooth (144Hz is indeed a treat for gaming) but it has visible backlight bleed. I know it is common for IPS screens to suffer from bleeding but I feel like mine could be worse than in general. Sometimes the leaking is visible even during daytime when dark content is shown on the screen, especially on the top (under the camera) and top right corner of the display. I have been using this laptop for almost 2 weeks now, but this backlight bleed just keeps bothering me. Im thinking about replacing my unit, but Im still not sure if it would be worth the trouble. Is this screen inperfection acceptable or should I try to apply for a replacement? If someone has some thoughts about this situation feel free to leave a comment, it would really help me out.

This laptop is amazing! And for the price it truly cannot be beat. I purchased the 1660ti model with 9750h. I was very lucky, my screen has very minimal light bleeding which is somewhat common on IPS displays. I replaced the 256GB NVME with a 512gb and added a second 1TB NVME. This laptop has space for three drives total, 2 nvmes and x1 for a 2.5 drive, I also upgraded the WiFi card to a killer WiFi 6 chip. The laptop runs quiet and cool. I stressed test and highest is goes is 85c. I highly recommend that you repaste if you feel comfortable. The gunk the factory used on this was just that, pink gunk. I recommend coolermater mastergel maker, a bit pricey but it works really well. The laptop is also very well lit, the keyboard is chiclet style but quite comfortable to use. If you’re on a budget, or just don’t care about all the bells and whistles of more expensive machines, give this one a try, you will not regret it!
