I got something that I can play games on for when I leave the house and hangout with friends. Very happy with this purchase as I got a pretty powerful machine for a really good price. Got the 4 year protection plan too to cover all bases! Awesome laptop!

Laptop stopped working after 4 months, stuck on an infinite startup repair loop, funny thing acers customer support is useless,tried reaching them via chat and call, but no luck. They are closed for the weekend and they expect to us to wait for a weekend to get this resolved. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this brand, even though this seems cheap, its not worth the hassle. I had a Lenovo z series before this which is still running fine, I gave that to my dad for his Netflix kinda use case and got this as an upgrade. But I regret it now. Atleast that laptop was working despite getting slow with time.

So I got my laptop on Wednesday and so far its running everything smoothly, and the fan sound is way lower than the previous helios 300, I cant complain and I also added a 1tb 3d nand WD ssd in the M.2 slot and so far its performing brilliantly.

I dont have a details, I just know that my son did all the research and came up with the model. He absolutely loves it and have no complains. The graphics are great and sound is amazing even without external speakers. It does make a noise when its overheated, but this is absolutely normal with gaming notebooks. Just give it a rest every few hours so it last longer. And the prices is very reasonable.

***The waves NX surround audio is absolute trash, but is easily disabled by going into the Waves MaxxAudio app while headphones are plugged in. DO NOT DELETE WAVES MAXXAUDIO WHEN CLEANING OUT THE BLOAT-WARE!!!!!!! I had to do a full reinstall in order to get it back.***

The laptop exceeded my every expectation! Although a bigger battery wouldve been like a cherry on top but it being a gaming laptop I understand. Very satisfied nonetheless!
