Bought this during black friday sale. Wow im so glad i did. I was first hesitant to buy it due to some negative review about thermal issue but i took the advice of some of my friends and just bought it. Boy im glad i listen to them! This is the best bang for the bucks in gaming laptop. I stressed test mine as soon as i opened it and wow no thermal issue during stress test. Laptop didnt even feel warm. It got good results too. This is trully a really good machine for the priced i paid. The screen on this machine is also gorgeous and fast! If you like to play games that requires high refresh rate this screen do that!!! Its so smooth! The keyboard is ok and easy to get use to. If i have to point out something negative its probably the corners of the laptop which is kinda sharp in a way but you can get use to it.

I bought this laptop as my primary gaming system until I move and have room to build a new desktop from the ground up, to be expected it cant outperform a desktop just because it cant cool as well as a desktop, that being said this is top notch quality for the price. Plays every game I need it to play. Ive had the cpu to almost 80c which is concerning but not overly concerning, I advise anyone who needs a gaming laptop to go with this monster. It performs well and will run anything you need, for the rest of you out there deciding between desktop and laptop go desktop if you have the room and/or time time/knowledge to build. I suggest not using coolboost as it actually heated cpu and gpu up more than using regular fan speeds for some reason, still. Great system for what it is guys get you one

Absolutely regret buying this computer. Only 5 months into playing and its failing hardware already. Blue screen of death started appearing a month later after purchase. I TRUSTED the brand and did not buy $200 insurance and now I cant return this junk. Very disappointed. I WANT TO RETURN IT NOW FOR FULL REFUND.

Great computer, i did an unnecessary swap though. I swapped thermal paste to conductonaut just to see.... I was able to raise core under voltage from -.125 to 0.090 and expanded turbo boost times and power, got performance boost on core and still have everything cooler than it was before, not that it was an issue, this is way cooler running than 7700 CPU predator. One thing I found is One of the ram modules for the gpu wasnt covered with enough grease but I fixed that with additional thermal paste on heatsink that would of been used for the 2 ram modules that arent there...... another think take care of removing this heat spreader thing around the gpu, it can fold easily and get ruined, I dont know if it is necessary but I returned it to its spot after I conformal coated the sensitive bits and gave the liquid metal treatment. Right now cpu runs 4.0 to 4.2 ghz during xtk stress test and 2055 mhz for GPU ... temps stay at 70° c while gaming

So the quick and easy is it is extremely impressive for the thousand dollars I paid for it. At the time of this writing it is playing all my games at high frame rates. I have been building computers since 1996 and started on the original half-life. I have had many gaming rigs all built by me and a few Alienware Laptops. To have such a thin fast computer that does not suck.... Its actually amazing to me for the price. You could spend much more and get much less if youre not careful. The only things that are slightly disappointing is I think the screen is a little bit thin for the laptop case and its flexible a little bit. Not a problem if youre careful but I could see on the go students beating it up and breaking the screen. I noticed that it does like to get hot but not so much that it stops working. I will be buying a slender laptop cooling pad. It also shows fingerprints really really easy and kind of makes it look nasty if you dont clean it often. The color of the case shows every fingerprint. All minor things that most people wouldnt worry about but its good to read this review and know what youre getting. I can absolutely recommend this computer as of December 2019. Know that laptops are pretty hard to upgrade if not impossible with the exception of adding a little memory or a hard drive. I will probably by a more powerful one in a few years Im pass this one down to a family member who doesnt need the power. If you buy close to the review date you will not be disappointed but six or eight months from now who knows. I got a Black Friday deal Im under $1,000 but it was worth every penny. Absolutely absolutely recommend. My last tip is that it must be plugged in for gaming to get decent frame rates. Gaming off the battery is not recommended and you will be disappointed.
