The hori hori is a great product. I only wish that I had one sooner. It is quite sharp and cuts through weed roots and digs deep for tap roots. The serrated edge is useful for cutting roots. I tell all my gardening friends to get one.

Great tool

I happened to get to use the the Japanese version of this knife and while it didnt break, it felt like if I really tested it, it might. With this knife (so far), I think I would break my wrist before break this knife. I had a cheaper version of this and I broke it after one day of use.

This tool is a must have for any gardener and/or plant lover!

I love this tool! I used it vigorously and it’s still going strong . I ordered a new one because occasionally misplace it!Not that it’s hard to find with the bright orange handle!

This is my second of these soil knives. I had to replace mine because my sister stole the one I already had. Can’t garden without one now.

Handy, sharp, and lightweight. Orange color is easier to find.

Absolutely love this. Use it for many things in the yard. Very strong, very sturdy. Perfect size for me. The serrated edge on one side is a great feature. I can slice through heavy turf grass. Also has markings on the blade that will be useful when planting bulbs. So strong and well-made, I doubt it will ever bend or break. And because the handle is bright orange, it is easy to find if I lay it down. It is definitely my go-to tool and couldn’t live without it!
