22-11-2024I purchased this fan to place in our front window in our dining area. I needed something to help move air at night and before it gets too hot during the day. As far as looks go, the fan is fine. It looks okay and is easy to setup. It comes full assembled. There is no battery included for the remote, so make sure you have some AAA batteries available. The fan runs; however, Im not sure how much it actually works. On the highest setting, you have to be about 1ft from the fan to feel any air at all. I didnt expect it to be a big air moved; however, I expected it would at least do something. As far as the sound goes, its not super loud on the highest setting. Once you turn it down; however, it makes a very odd sound. Its kind of like a high pitched, metal on metal sound. It only gets louder when you go to the lowest setting. One other annoyance is that there is no memory on your settings. When you turn the fan on, it automatically goes to the vent setting. You have to cycle it to pull air in. At this point, I just look at it as a wasted purchase. I dont want to deal with returning it as most places are already out of stock on window fans. The search will just have to continue for me to find something better.

> 3 dayI love this fan! What I love most is that the side that faces you once in a window has the openings for air flow only in the front. A lot of fans have vent holes on the sides of the raised areas around the openings of where the blades are. If you use them in a window with a screen it causes back flow and air comes back in through those side openings. If you are using this as an exhaust fan especially in winter, a lot of cold air flows back in with every other fan I have ever tried. This fan only takes the air out!!! No drafts!!!! I am super impressed with with this fan! The remote is great, the in and out flow is neat with dual blades. That feature would be awesome if you are cooking something that needed some fresh air and needed smoke out. The blades are large and moves a lot of air. Amazon did a great job on design for this and it Ii am beyond happy with my purchase!!!

> 3 dayNot only is this thing obviously put together as inexpensively as possible, but the print on it is so cheap you can rub it right off!. The accordion style sides never stay as you place and adjust them. Basically, this is the worst possible fan you could buy, but since it is an Amazon Basic product, you should expect that. I dont know why it wants me to rate a Remote Control either, as there isnt one. This fan has 3 settings, and in a month you wont be able to read what they are.

Greater than one weekIm not big on writing reviews, but I thought this product could use one. Its a basic unit that only has a low and hi setting. However its a great quiet product!! I bought one for the upstairs to vent out that worked perfect for myself. Then bought a second the next day for the first floor! Ive been using them about a month (June to July 2021) so about longevity / durability I cant review that yet, but so far so good. Still it is well made and it moves out the hotter air when venting out; and brings in the cooler air on cool days when turned around. No major complains here so far. It Came on time and was well packaged. This is a great fan that I replaced a Comfort Zone window model with. Lightweight and quiet. ....... If there was one improvement.: I would make it so the fans casing was easier to open to get to the blades to keep them clean without using a special size / length phillips head screw driver.

Greater than one weekThe fan is alright...it does move some air but not much. I installed it in my computer room window and felt like it just wasnt...doing much. I pulled the curtains in front of it while it was running and it barely moved them. So yes it moves air...but not much. I stuffed a standard oscillating fan in the window and it is more effective. The blades are tiny and the fan is just as loud as more powerful ones. The icing on the cake for me was that during night two if use, it stopped working. I assume the absolutely MICRO sized fuse in the plug blew. I cant be bothered to try to replace it, and also cant return the fan since I threw away the packaging. The fan is made of light flimsy plastic as well and just does not feel like good quality. Window fans used to be made of metal and last 15 years. They just dont make things like they used to.

Greater than one weekI wanna like this fan but its not very powerful at all. A slight breeze and it blows air right back in.

> 3 dayThe digital thermostat is a joke. The other night inside was around 78 and outside near 60. I put the thermostat to 65 and went to bed. Hoping once the room temp. Reaches 65 the fan will turn off and room wont get too cold. To my surprise the fan stopped in less than a minute since it was pulling less than 65 ! One of the pull out adjusting shutters was stock out of the box. And the other one doesnt stay open and keeps pulling back in.

> 3 dayI like this fan. Had one like for many years, until it broke. The remote control also controls the other fan in the room. Which make it difficult to use, turn on one the other one turns off. Which was a surprise, the other fan did not come with a remote. The high level has no noise, which is great. However the medium and low settings have a very high pitch frequency.

> 3 dayI have had a few window fans before. So when I got this one, I really didn’t expect much difference. But I was surprised at how quiet this one was. Moves the air great and easy to sleep in the same room with.

Greater than one weekBlows air efficently. I like that you can reverse the airflow with the flip of a switch.
