Amazon Basics Window Fan with Manual Controls, Twin 9-Inch Blades

Greater than one weekNo bells and whistles, and none needed. This is a workhorse fan at an excellent price. We bought two for kitchen windows and, with advent of coronavirus and smoking neighbors, set them to blow air out. They have been working all day every day for months, now in high temperatures, with no issues. The noise level (again, given the neighbors) is manageable. Our only complaint, as with all fans, is that the blades get dirty and theyll have to be cleaned at the end of the season. For now, theyre champs.

> 3 dayThis fan is very easy to use, relatively quiet, fit in my bedroom window perfectly, and comes with a remote. Even though this is Amazon Basics brand, I have a feeling it’s actually made by Black and Decker cause the remote controls my Black and Decker stand up fan too. It really does help cool my bedroom a good 4 to 5 degrees more than the rest of the house by pulling the cooler air inside from outside.

> 3 dayNot only is this thing obviously put together as inexpensively as possible, but the print on it is so cheap you can rub it right off!. The accordion style sides never stay as you place and adjust them. Basically, this is the worst possible fan you could buy, but since it is an Amazon Basic product, you should expect that. I dont know why it wants me to rate a Remote Control either, as there isnt one. This fan has 3 settings, and in a month you wont be able to read what they are.

Greater than one weekI returned this window fan as the power was quite weak, even on high it barely moved any air. Not recommended.

> 3 dayThis window fan works well, has some feet to set it on a window sill instead of in the window sash itself which is a nice feature so that you do not need to move the fan around every time you use it, you can just open the window and turn it on. the noise level is reasonable, and i would say the airflow for this size fan is marginal/good, the actual fan blades are a bit small for the housing that they are in which creates losses. Overall definitely worth the cost.

> 3 dayBought this fan to circulate air in my office. Its very loud. So loud that its difficult to focus and interferes with telephone calls due to the excessive background noise. I am returning it.

> 3 dayThis is an easy, simple window fan. We use it to bring the cool air in at night and it works just like it should.

> 3 dayThis fan was exactly what I wanted. Simple and all white. But one of the fans didn’t even work the moment it came out of the box. I have had a Holmes one for over 10 years and it still works, so I ended up get another and didn’t bother with a replacement for this. Would have given 4 stars due to longer blades (9”) than the Holmes one (8”).
