> 3 dayUsed the stock Wraith Prism CPU cooler for a few weeks. Noticed that the CPU ran warm and the cooler fan was noisy. Replaced stock cooler with a Noctua NH-D15 and it is much better now. I am happy with the 3800X CPU performance. In hindsight, I would go with the 3700X CPU instead.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent processor, bought it to upgrade from a Ryzen 3 2700. Easy to replace and no issue with power draw. Really upgraded my PC into a great gaming PC with good FPS. Was also cheaper than the Ryzen 5.

> 3 dayThe CPU is definitely enough for what I currently need for 3d modeling, graphic design, and gaming. It was cheap when I brought it so it was bang for the buck better than 3700x. It is paired with an RTX 2070 so it can run most games at medium to high-resolution 144Hz.

> 3 dayBought this on sale here when I was looking for the 3700X, but that one was not available and the 3800X WAS available for about $10 more!

> 3 dayI received the 3800X yesterday (paid standard retail price) and paired it with the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra motherboard. I am extremely pleased with how well the system performs. No overclocking at this time and the CPU runs mostly at 4.4 GHz with an occasional dip down to 3.9 GHz .

> 3 dayI upgraded from 2600 to this alongside a motherboard upgrade. I wont be reviewing the Wraith Prism cooler, as I am using an aftermarket cooler instead.
