Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Nintendo Switch

In the last few decades, I have played thousands of hours of video games. Shooters, RTS, TBS, every genre under the sun. In all those hours, I have rarely experienced gameplay this engrossing. I am engaged in seemingly eternal servitude to a capitalist raccoon. Despite my dire straits, I have carved out a life for myself. I spend days fishing and shaking trees for extra spending money. I visit nearby islands to pillage and plunder natural resources. Life is simple. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is quite possibly the best Switch game that will ever be released. I can’t recommend this game enough!

She is now addicted to the Switch. I cant get my hands on it anymore. So much for finishing Metroid...

I love this game so much! It brings back slot of nostalgia from my younger years! Animal crossing offers endless hours of fun! I love that they periodically put out new updates to keep the game exciting!

I have never played an Animal Crossing game before! I was contemplating on getting this title because I am mostly into RPGs and Action/Adventure games. Once I started on my island it was amazing. The colors, the graphics, and the characters! OMG. New Horizons reminds me so much of the classic Harvest Moon games back on GC. I love the real time feature of the game. Makes it fun to wake up the next day to see new villagers or a new building appear.

Don t hesitate! Just buy it! 2022 still a Animal Crossing WORLD!!

This game is incredible! It’s very relaxing, a nice change of pace from the crazy games out there today. The graphics are incredible and beautiful, and this game is a great way to play with your friends during social distancing via Nintendo online. This game is a great way to pass time while stuck inside during quarantine and the music in the game is very soothing and fun! The characters are also SO CUUUTE!!!! I grew up playing the animal crossing ds games and I’m very happy to say, this game definitely did them justice. I’m also very happy that they brought back some old characters, but also introduced a few new ones! It’s very exciting to see all the new features in this game that weren’t available in the previous ones and I’m excited to see what’s in store for the game. :)

I bought a switch solely for this game. It unites the old with the new. I used to play animal crossing on the game cube when I was younger and any releases from then until now didnt interest me until this one. It hits all the bars bringing back important features from the past but also bringing in new ones to add game play. The graphics are amazing and really brings back childhood memories. Ive been playing for about 2 weeks now and Im completely hooked. Whether youve been an animal crossing gamer or are new to the universe I HIGHLY recommend this game to take you away from the world and unwind in a game that is just so relaxing.

The perfect companion during quarantine. The game offers so many great features, such as the ability to customize and place furniture outside, and the ability to design an island to fit whatever theme your heart desires. The game starts a bit slow for people who are into fast pace action, but I find after a long day at work, the pace was very relaxing. Once you unlock the ability to customize and landscape/terraform, you could very well spend 8 hours straight just doing that, so pace yourself! Id love to see more custom design slots, more house storage, and more varied villager interaction, but based on what Ive heard from others, this is the strongest entry in the series so far, and they keep releasing updates that may or may not address these things in the future.

I bought this game on release day and didnt think itd come on time due to the pandemic and towns and stores locking down but Amazon got it to me on the release day and Ive had a blast playing it the past few years

Since my girlfriend and I are law students, it’s hard to not only focus on something non-academic, but also to enjoy focusing on something non-academic due to the feeling of not being fully dedicated to your studies. I’m other words, my girlfriend has had trouble finding a guilty pleasure while in law school and her daily routine was starting to make me wish I could help give her a hobby. It turned out, Animal Crossing was the very right hobby for her. As soon as she started playing it she could not find enough hours in the day to play it to her fill, even though managing her islands is now a part-time job for her now. Her passion and creativity has manifested itself through the game, and I’m eternally grateful for the developers of this game giving her that kind of happiness.
