> 3 dayThis needed better reviews, so I’m here to save the day. Yes it’s only one island per console BUT your kids can all play at one time together while doing the same things. It makes the experience like a group effort, you’re creating your own village together as a team. It is a much more rewarding experience while you work together to build your island from the ground up. You don’t need to buy more than one to have both of your kids happy, just maybe have them together when naming so they can agree. It’s has amazing graphics and is good for all ages. I’ve been a fan of Animal Crossing games for years, and the wait was worth it. Please buy this game if you’re considering something to do during your time stuck at home.

> 3 dayNintendo continues to dazzle its fanbase, old and new. The game is consistently rewarding, aesthetically pleasing, and forwardly fun. The game presents you with a new checklist of creative potential every day, and is truly a game where you get out what you put in. You want to discover fossils and donate to a museum to build a wonderland of exhibits? Check. You want to befriend your fellow villagers and learn recipes to craft new furniture? Check. You want to completely change the image of your island to your liking through inspiration? Check check check. Seriously fun for gamers who like a calmer, unique style to interior and exterior design, fun discovery, and adorable characters!

> 3 dayJust like most people I played this a lot when this first came out. It was a great game to play during quarantine and just a great game to chill out too. I played this game for about a month and a half straight and I had a great time exploring trying to find cool villagers and customizing my Island. I clocked in about 110 hours! Unfortunately for me it just didnt keep me invested for longer than a month with all of the other games I wanted to play. Its a very repetitive game and somewhat limiting for what you can do in a day. The game revolves around your real time and some of the elements like moving the position of a house or building are annoying because you can only move one building at a time and have to wait till the next day to move another building. You can however do something called “Time Traveling” to move time faster but its a very clunky process that brings me out of the game so I decided not to do it more than once. I just grew tired of the experience and instead of a relaxing and chill experience it started as it became overwhelming and a chore. Was fun while it lasted but just was not a game for me.

> 3 dayAs a lifelong Animal Crossing fan (Animal Crossing for the GameCube released when I was about 9), this is already my favorite installment since the original. Nintendo has managed to keep so much of the original nostalgia while adding in lots of new features. I love the addition of the crafting aspect that can add a bit of problem-solving to an otherwise straightforward life simulator. As always, its absolutely adorable and I cannot stop playing and improving my island. Awesome job, Nintendo!

> 3 dayMy siblings and I grew up playing Animal Crossing on the GameCube, the DS (all of them) and the wii. We were very excited for it to come out for the switch. And its a great little twist on our classic game. The only thing that was mildly annoying is having to build your tools every time they break-- this isnt a new feature, but you have to gather the material to do it, which is very time consuming, and also has a limited amount that you can collect each day. It was very nice being able to play with friends from other states via the internet.
