I love that I can set and control this socket from my phone. When I come home, the house is lit up and looks great.

Had to download the app. Once that was done, setup was straight dory and easy. Works well. Using Google Home to control and Popotan for timer settings.

I set this wifi outlet up with a lamp in my living room. It worked great for a few weeks, then one day it started rapidly turning on and off and making a clicking sound. Tried unplugging it and resetting it, but that didn’t fix it. Also tried clearing it from the app and setting up again.

With my old wifi, this set up was done in minutes. It worked so well, I bought a second one for another device. However, by this point, I had upgraded to an Eero Pro 6. Apparently, the Eero Pro 6 puts out 2.4 & 5 ghz signals simultaneously, so there shouldnt be an issue. I have other 2.4ghz products and I dont remember having this much issue connecting those items. However, this plug wouldnt connect no matter what I did. I finally went on the Eero website to see if I can get get a clue by reading the help section. Sure enough, one of the reps recommended a low tech solution, and it worked perfectly for me, I hope itll help you too. Connecting 2.4ghz Products: If a device manufacturer requires the 2.4GHz frequency, the most straightforward (although admittedly low-tech) is simply to power down any extra eeros and physically move further away from the primary unit – this will help your phone connect on 2.4GHz so that you can proceed with iDevice setup.

I bought 4 & 1 failed after a year & the company replaced it free. Two thumbs up.

These are amazing until the break. Now always shows offline then randomly turns on and off, wouldn’t buy again

This stay at home order got me thinking of ways to improve our home. I already have Google Home and smart led lights around the house, but I decided to take it a bit further and try to automate other stuff like electric fans, rice cooker, and other appliances. This product seems to be an inexpensive solution for my project. I wasn’t disappointed. The packaging is plain and simple with minimal branding. It contains 4 smart sockets and the user guide. I like the white finish on this product as it blends well with our walls and sockets. It feels very sturdy and durable. At first, I tried to directly setup the sockets using Google Home, but unlike other products, it looks like there is no direct way but to use the Smart Life app. I tried setting up the sockets using the wall socket close to my wifi router. The Smart Life app setup wizard was quick, and I got all the 4 sockets connected to my wifi in 5 minutes. Then I just linked the Smart Life app to my Google Home app and there I am now able to control everything from one app. Voice command works fine, I have labeled the sockets to correspond to the appliance connected to it for easy voice commands. I connected an exhaust fan to one socket and setup schedules to turn on and off, and it works well. So far, I am very happy with my purchase. Inexpensive smart solution that works very well. Highly recommended.

Truly Cheapest ones i found in Amazon and close to 5 star reviews with so many satisfied customers according reviews. So when i was looking for smart plugs, I jumped on these. I purchased all together 16 of them. It has been almost a month. Enough time to be familiar with them. All the plugs were used in different remote locations and for different devices to be turned on off remotely and used with schedules and smart groupings. Many began to fail. For example, One just did not work after a 3 weeks of working and many effort went it to it to figure out why it was not working (Amazon tech service were consulted as well). Final conclusion for this one was that it Just failed and did not work even though it was giving all the right indications that it was working ( switch lights indications, and from smart life app). Other failing issues are, failing Erratically from scheduled times I have set ( not come on of fail to turn of at scheduled off time) and just fail to connect ( dropped from wifi network) and becomes ‘off line’. I would not mined so much if all the failing devices are located near by where i just go and reset them but most of them are off sights and hours away so until I am there, I could not do anything ( not knowing if it is on ? Or off? That is not good). One issue is that it is odd is that three of the smart plugs are using same net work of wifi close to each other and always same two fails and drops from the net work and becomes ‘off line’. So this is situation, out of 16 i got, 5 of them gives me this problem of offline where i just can not control from Smart life app so they become useless till I go to reset ( but fails again in couple of day and must wait till i get there again to reset them) . About the scheduling failure, i am not so much in concern Right Now since as long as i can turn them on or off remotely, i can live with it. So I have 6 that fails of of 16 and these ones i am in process of returning for a full refund before 30 days of return period guide line from Amazon (after that i am to contact directly to manufacture since it was sold, according to amazon, there after). Smart plugs are very convenient if they work. So i am going to try different brands that works better. Once I find them, my intention is to retune all to this manufacturer. I hope I am not the only one having these problems. It can not be. 6 failed smart plugs out of 16 is like over 35% failure rate which means since it comes 4 outlet in a box, at least one should be defective ( from 30 days of trial. Who know how long these switches will last before they all fail...). Other brands i am looking at right now regardless of the prices are gosund ( amazon certified) and wyze ( I have 11 cameras and am happy with) brand. Good luck

Cannot link to devices despite multiple attempts. Terrible instructions and support. Follow up: my connection problem was the bit speed of the internet connection. The devices cannot connect to 5 mps, but are fine with 2.4 mos. Once we figured that out, they worked fine.

It took like 6 sec for this plug to be connected. And it works great.
