> 3 dayLoved the price and versatility and easy set up. One broke in a couple of weeks but I had threee spares so Ill just use one of them and see. At this price the loss of one wasnt a major issue. Not worth the time and effort to ask for replacement.

13-06-2025Normally, I can tell in a short period of time if I’m going to like a thing or not. These were the first smart outlets I purchased to test new technology. They were average to connect, not hard nor easy. Unfortunately, I’ve already lost one to electronic mortality. I set these to turn on and off at sunrise and sunset as the need requires. Since purchase two years ago, that means it has roughly been cycled 365x4 times or 1460 times. I bought a pack of 4 and one is dead. That’s a 25% failure rate. Otherwise, they operate fine. Because of the mortality, I’m rating them a 2. Follow-on from review two months ago. Another one bites the dust. Now only two of this brand out of the original four are left. Don’t waste your money. Buy something with more longevity.

07-06-2025I set this wifi outlet up with a lamp in my living room. It worked great for a few weeks, then one day it started rapidly turning on and off and making a clicking sound. Tried unplugging it and resetting it, but that didn’t fix it. Also tried clearing it from the app and setting up again.

> 3 dayI was able to connect my iPhone, however my son’s Samsung couldn’t detect the apparatus. I just changed my Wi-Fi provider and half the time my device reads that it’s offline.

11-06-2025Easy to install. You need to make sure you have access to your 2.4GHz wifi network. Once you do that the setup is through your phone (iphone in my case) where you find the device using their app over bluetooth and then it gets setup as a wifi device. You can then ask Alexa to search for devices. The only thing I will say is make sure you give the sockets sensible names when you set them up as this is how Alexa identifies them. Eg call the TV one “TV”, etc. They have the ability to add timers too so that works well for me as I have things set up on timers.

> 3 dayTwo of the four have died in three months. Unfortunately, the second just after the return window closed. Very disappointing.

> 3 dayThis smart plug is very easy to pair with Alexa. The best thing about it is the long range. Now I can turn off lights upstairs using Alexa without having to walk upstairs.
