> 3 dayI’ve been using this plug for a little while. I love being able to control it through my phone. I don’t have to set a timer on the plug and worry about over heating. I can set a timer on my phone or simply just turn it on while I’m away

> 3 dayAfter opening it I plugged it in where I wanted it (upstairs and quite a ways from my router) and the app found it right away. I tried twice to connect to it up there and failed. Then I thought it’s like most things, the closer to the router the easier to connect. Plugged it in 3 feet from my router and connected in 15 seconds. Changed the name in the app to describe what it controls and automatically was in the Alexa app. I did have to set up 2 routines so it would turn on and off the light I wanted at the time I wanted but that only took a couple of minutes. I guess what helped me is I already had the Smart Life app installed and had used it before with some candelabra bulbs I purchased a while back. I’ve had it for a couple of days now and so far no problem. For 10 bucks works as well as my true Amazon Plugs that I have bought in the past. I would and probably will buy again.

> 3 dayEasy to install (setup), and work great! I have a couple of smart bulbs that wont work w/ Alexa, but once I plugged the lamps into these sockets...MAGIC! Works on anything you can plug into it. Would definitely recommend.

Greater than one weekLoved the price and versatility and easy set up. One broke in a couple of weeks but I had threee spares so Ill just use one of them and see. At this price the loss of one wasnt a major issue. Not worth the time and effort to ask for replacement.

> 3 dayLove this WiFi plug. The app was easy to get and to set up and connect to my internet router. Took all of maybe 2 minutes. You just plug it in and have your phone in your hand. Download the free Smart Life app. Plug comes with directions that are easy to follow. The app is very easy to use as well. Love how I can turn light on/off with app on my phone, just tap the picture of the plug (see my screen shots of my phone app). I also have it scheduled to turn light on and off at a certain time every day. You can individualize each days schedule if you want as far as the times it turns on and off. Also you can have it NOT turn on at all if you want on certain days. The times are in military time so that took me a minute to calculate what time 11pm would be, but thats just my lack of familiarity with using military time. There is an option that allows you to have it turn on/off at random times. I have not used this feature yet. There is also a timer feature that allows you to turn the light (or whatever you have plugged into it) on a have it stay on for a set length of time. Lets say you want to leave it on for 30 min. set timer and it will turn off in 30 min.! You can use also manually press the button on the plug itself to turn things on/off. You can label rooms in your home and keep adding new WiFi plugs to your app. It is great to know that if you are not home and you want to turn a light on, you can. I am still working on figuring out how to use all the voice control features. I am going to purchase more of these. I am sure this is going to save on my electric bill as there will be no more falling asleep on the couch with the light left on for hours.

> 3 dayPro: compact, seem to be well built, integrate nicely with Alexa. I recommend setting them up all at once, even eif youre not going to use them all at once. Then when youre ready, plug one of the already programmed plugs in, and let Alexa know what you want to do with it. Con: the instructions were a little vague. Once I figured them out, all work well.

> 3 dayI bought the pack of four and have only set up one, but it was pretty quick and easy... once I looked at the instructions. My habit with these sorts of things is to just try to figure it out as I go along, and that didnt work here. This brand doesnt automatically show up in the Alexa app to connect, you have to set up the plug with their app and then connect it to Alexa. Its an extra step, but then its done, and it all works nicely. I have two complaints. First, the size of the round housing for these things is so large that you cant use two of them in a single wall outlet. Maybe I should have realized that from the photos, but I missed it... and its just poor design. Second, it only supports 2.4GHz wi-fi connections, and the 2.4GHz band is horribly noisy in my apartment building, so I use 5 when I can. Again, it probably said something to that affect in the listing, but I missed it... any device sold these days really should support both.
