Greater than one weekAt first it was great! I have a ceiling lamp plugged into it. Got it synced with the app no problem Today 4.5months later (got in april) it began turning on/off intermittently. I first thought it was the outlet but plugged into other outlets and same result. Then whenever plugged in it does this clicking noise from the unit too. I’ve unplugged and will just toss. Really enjoyed it but should last longer.

> 3 daySmart sockets are known to burn out the relay contacts over time. Less expensive units are more prone to this. We will see how long these hold up.

> 3 dayI used this for outdoor lights that are plugged in indoors. Apparently it’s not recommended for external use. I also used it, rather than smart bulbs, for a lamp with more than one bulb. It works well with Alexa.

> 3 dayI was able to connect my iPhone, however my son’s Samsung couldn’t detect the apparatus. I just changed my Wi-Fi provider and half the time my device reads that it’s offline.

> 3 dayI bought the pack of four and have only set up one, but it was pretty quick and easy... once I looked at the instructions. My habit with these sorts of things is to just try to figure it out as I go along, and that didnt work here. This brand doesnt automatically show up in the Alexa app to connect, you have to set up the plug with their app and then connect it to Alexa. Its an extra step, but then its done, and it all works nicely. I have two complaints. First, the size of the round housing for these things is so large that you cant use two of them in a single wall outlet. Maybe I should have realized that from the photos, but I missed it... and its just poor design. Second, it only supports 2.4GHz wi-fi connections, and the 2.4GHz band is horribly noisy in my apartment building, so I use 5 when I can. Again, it probably said something to that affect in the listing, but I missed it... any device sold these days really should support both.

> 3 dayIt always takes a minute (or 10) to fully connect but once it does, no issues. I wish this exact brand came with more outlets but for the price, I really cant complain.

> 3 dayIm only using one of the plugs right now but it frequently goes offline for no apparent reason, then I have to go through the whole process of setting it up through the smart home app. My bedroom only has one plug to plug in my small fan about 6 feet from the bed, so instead of getting up and down several times a night during the night to turn the fan off and on for my hot flashes, I can just tell Alexa to turn the fan off or on. Its a grewt

> 3 dayGot this for my Juggernog fridge to turn it on and off ever few hours. I only wish the apps had simpler timers such as turn on for x hours and off for x hours.
