> 24 hourGot this for my Juggernog fridge to turn it on and off ever few hours. I only wish the apps had simpler timers such as turn on for x hours and off for x hours.

> 24 hourThis will be the third time I buy these. I’m kind of hooked into the app and the routines and it has really been working and helping a lot. One of them died, but I’m glad it stopped in the off position. I do need another one in that spot so I’m going to purchase a few more. They are 99.9% reliable to stay online. The one that was dying first started to go off-line. I guess that would be a signal that one’s about to fail. Not everything lasts forever. I’ve been using these heavily for quite a few months.

> 24 hourThese are great and easy to setup/use. I have a pair of bug zappers and hooked them up in the bedroom and kitchen. Now when I see a bug buzzing around I just tell Alexa to turn on my bug zappers Alexa shields up! and zap! you plug them in, load their app, and its pretty straightforward from there. You hold the button down for 5 or 7 seconds to reset until it blinks then turn on your phone blue tooth for the app to detect and configure for your wifi network. Then link to Alexa and setup your routines. Note Amazon sent me a pack of used ones but since I could reset them and they seem to be working fine these past weeks that I did not knock any stars off as its Amazon and not the manufacturers fault, plus I hate wasting working products just because they are used but still look new (though it wouldnt hurt for amazon to knock a few dollars off). I do recommend this product if you are looking to control power for outlet devices that remain on.

> 24 hourEasy to install. You need to make sure you have access to your 2.4GHz wifi network. Once you do that the setup is through your phone (iphone in my case) where you find the device using their app over bluetooth and then it gets setup as a wifi device. You can then ask Alexa to search for devices. The only thing I will say is make sure you give the sockets sensible names when you set them up as this is how Alexa identifies them. Eg call the TV one “TV”, etc. They have the ability to add timers too so that works well for me as I have things set up on timers.

> 24 hourI set this wifi outlet up with a lamp in my living room. It worked great for a few weeks, then one day it started rapidly turning on and off and making a clicking sound. Tried unplugging it and resetting it, but that didn’t fix it. Also tried clearing it from the app and setting up again.

> 24 hourWe had smart plugs earlier and the functionality was amazing nothing to complain. This new buy was the same. Timers work perfectly. This was bought mainly for Christmas lights and they were just functioning perfectly. Did use all, just 2 did it for me and they were perfect.

> 24 hourOnly a couple of times does one of my plugs seem like it works 80% of the time but it might be cause its a distance from my router? Other than that these are all hooked up to my Alexa and works great. I have almost everything automatic now. I dont have to go manually turn on and off lights, Scentsies, cameras, etc. All can be done while on the couch or even while Im out of the house. Had to order some for my sister.

> 24 hourI initially gave a 1-star review because it wouldnt work on a 5-GHZ network. Later research told me that almost none of them will, and even those that will dont work on the incredibly common Xfinity 802.11ac router/hub. I happened to encounter an Xfinity repairman working outside a neighbors house, and asked what to do. You can go into the Xfinity app and split your network to have a 2.4 GHZ component also. Its tricky to find, but it worked easily once I found it. Then, I moved all my Amazon Alexa devices to that 2.4 GHZ network. That was pretty easy too, once I did a bit of Google research. The last step was to temporarily put my phone on that new network also, and to install the Smart Life app that controls the switches. It was easy to detect and configure the switches, and also to link the account to my Alexa app so that it was seamless. It all works fine. Well see if I have the problems with random disconnects that others are reporting. So, now I have my PCs, tablets, printer and phones on the 5 GHZ network, and the Alexa and IOT (Internet of Things) on 2.4 GHZ. If this review was gibberish to you, then youll have to pay someone to set it up.

> 24 hourI love that I can set and control this socket from my phone. When I come home, the house is lit up and looks great.
