It is a very solid feeling case. Everything fit well. It looks nice as well. No major issues.

This is a just have for your pi. Wish I had purchased one sooner. Looks good,comes with power supply and cools great. I was surprised the top half was metal. Very sturdy.

I purchased this enclosure based on reviews Ive read about how well the temperature control of the RPI board is kept. The enclosure does include a fan and there is an open-sourced bash script that you can install to adjust the fan to trigger the fan speed based on the temperature sensed in the RPI CPU. Keep in mind that my application is a nameserver for my internal network and does not stress the RPI CPU anywhere near the performance hit (temperature-wise) you would experience for gaming or other high-CPU utilization applications. To verify that the RPI CPU was not overheating, I set up a cron job to log the CPU temperature to a text file every minute. A Python program retrieves the log file via SSH on my MacBook Pro. I used matplotlib to view the temperature variation is (see photo). The graph is nothing fancy as I am new to Python. What you see in the attached plot is the temperature fluctuation, of the RPI CPU, in a nominal house environment with low CPU utilization. I plan on characterizing other RPIs I have with greater CPU demand but thought Id share this case as a reference. Finally, the enclosure, as a whole, is excellent, well designed, and easy to assemble. I have at least 5 of these thus far and am using them to build components for my local network. UPDATE 6Aug2022 Argon has come out with the Argon M.2 and I am in the process of upgrading all my NAS servers to use the M.2. It eliminated my external SSD, and reduces the wire mess. The M.2 uses only the SATA M.2 according to the instruction booklet that came with my M.2. I LOVE the M.2! Oh, only one complaint. The tiny screw that holds the SSD inside the bottom cover...mine popped out of my hand and I lost it. I wish Argon would include at least one extra screw of each size used in the case! That, or mention the screw sizes in the instructions.

Great case - well made - easy to assemble - easy fit. Nice to have the power switch available. Stays so cool the fan doesnt come on.

I was excited until I operated it. The case is awesome but the daughter board that reroutes the ports is flaky. I had a monitor port that died the same day I hooked this up. Now the monitor has ghost issues with sound on the hdmi ports. Its an older Samsung but it was a nice monitor (SMT27A750). I spent hours trying to figure out what was happening, filed off a bit of the PCB to ensure proper fit but in the end my confidence in this product gave out. Its now on the way to the recycle center...I ended up reorder another Anidees Aluminum Pi case. Stay away from this case and take a look at the Anidees Glass Top AI-PI4-SG...Its modern and classy...to each his own but...

I purchased this based on a Youtube review, ExplainingComputers. It shows microHDMI ports on the case being brought out. The unit I got has STANDARD HDMI ports and I love it! The only downside was I only had three of the small screws for holding the adapter card in place, but I dont feel any looseness. I love the fact that all the cords come off one side. The heat transfer pads work fine and the case is cool to the touch though you can feel just a bit of heat. The fan has not turned on, yet. Love it and plan to purchase another for the next project an emby media server. or Plex which ever works.

I purchased the Argon One M2 recently for a Raspberry Pi 4 8gb because it offers: a Great 2 Full-size DVI output Daughter Card, Active & Passive Fan Cooling, and the correct GPIO Pin Access in a removable cover. It also came with a High Output A/C Adapter all in a compact case. Upon inserting the Raspberry Pi 4 into the case- it became apparent the Argon One Daughter Card lined up perfectly with the Case Internal Metal Posts that support the card in the case... but the screws that secure the Daughter Card to the inside of the case- DO NOT LINE UP with the Molded Metal Brackets. The Raspberry Pi 4 is secured to the inside of the Argon One Case with Screws... these line up, but the Daughter Cards 4 screws only line up on one end. Countless emails to the company get me no where... the EU Version includes a M2 SSD Expansion... so the next time I purchase the Argon One Case, Ill purchase the EU Version. The USA Argon One M2 case works, but is not worthy of 5 Stars... Buyer Beware!
