I really like the accessibility of the pins. Great for experimentation. Not crazy about the sloped top, but not a huge deal. Everything you need to get the RPi mounted is included. Power supply is nice. Just dont forget that you need a micro HDMI compatible cable - or a converter.

I was excited until I operated it. The case is awesome but the daughter board that reroutes the ports is flaky. I had a monitor port that died the same day I hooked this up. Now the monitor has ghost issues with sound on the hdmi ports. Its an older Samsung but it was a nice monitor (SMT27A750). I spent hours trying to figure out what was happening, filed off a bit of the PCB to ensure proper fit but in the end my confidence in this product gave out. Its now on the way to the recycle center...I ended up reorder another Anidees Aluminum Pi case. Stay away from this case and take a look at the Anidees Glass Top AI-PI4-SG...Its modern and classy...to each his own but...

Really nice case for the raspberry pi 4. I like all of the i/o being on the backside of case. Looks nice and keeps the pi 4 cool even with an overclock.

I bought one of the Kickstarter cases for Pi3, so this is my second. I like the Flirc cases, too. But for desktop use, the cord management, I/O accessibility and labeling (when needed or hidden when not), and integrated fan control and power switch is really appreciated. Theyre even fun to put together if you like that sort of thing. Only drawback is the need for a 5.25v power supply (at least on the early cases). Dont know if thats still true, but this came packaged with a quality power supply so its not an issue. (case and supply in same Argon-branded box, not a seller bundle.) One caveate: if you lose power, you have to push the button to restart your Pi. So maybe not best for an embedded application.

This is simply a great case. Nothing disappoints. Fan control works as well as the power button using the provided script. Now they need to come out with a case that can house a SSD or M.2.

I was excited to get this case, despite it being about twice as expensive as my FLIRC cases. The case I received had some significant gouges in the finish of the magnetic lid, and the lid is slightly warped or bent such that one of the corners on the top of the case (at the highest point) sticks up noticeably higher than the other side. I am very disappointed, given the premium charged for this case. I have not tested both HDMI ports, so dont know if I will find the same issues that others reported. Cooling seems on par with FLIRC cases - I havent had issues with either when stress testing @2.0GHz. Wouldnt recommend this case for more than $15 given the poor quality finish and bent top.

I like that the cooling works well and has case controls. The interface for controlling wasn’t too simple.

I wanted SO much to like this case. It looks fantastic; its ideas are a step above most cases (daughterboard to get all ports on one side; power button on case; passive and active cooling; etc). I just really really wanted to like it. However ... it just doesnt work. Tried repeatedly to get it working, but nothing. If you get a unit that works, its probably an awesome case for you. For me, it didnt work, and Ill move on to a different case. Pros: * aesthetic design * functional design * features Cons: * daughterboard ports dont line up quite perfect with case cut-outs (not a huge deal, as they still worked, but it just doesnt look quite right) * it doesnt work. nope. nada.

*************UPDATE************************************************************************* I wanted so bad for this thing to work smoothly. This is a perfect example when of an awesome design using substandard parts! I would buy this case again just for the passive heatsink cooling but my fan started making horrible bearing noise at DAY 5... Since dropping off a UPS return during a snowstorm and waiting for a replacement when I need my Pi Server running isnt really my idea of a good time, I will have to find one of my mini 5V fans and replace it myself. I just ask myself WHY. Why build such a nice case with all of that solid aluminum and skimp out an extra 10 cents on the BOM with a crap Shenzen fan? ************************************************************************************************* I have a raspberry constantly running BOINC at 100% and I love the fact that the case itself acts like a heatsink. I have checked the CPU temperature and it stays around the 55 C temp where the fan will kick on at minimum speed occasionally to push the temp below the threshold. It is so much better than those cheap acrylic cases with loud cheap fans that barely do anything. Note- I cannot attest to the breakout board working or not. My unit runs headless. I have seen complaints on other reviews about that.

I purchased the Argon One M2 recently for a Raspberry Pi 4 8gb because it offers: a Great 2 Full-size DVI output Daughter Card, Active & Passive Fan Cooling, and the correct GPIO Pin Access in a removable cover. It also came with a High Output A/C Adapter all in a compact case. Upon inserting the Raspberry Pi 4 into the case- it became apparent the Argon One Daughter Card lined up perfectly with the Case Internal Metal Posts that support the card in the case... but the screws that secure the Daughter Card to the inside of the case- DO NOT LINE UP with the Molded Metal Brackets. The Raspberry Pi 4 is secured to the inside of the Argon One Case with Screws... these line up, but the Daughter Cards 4 screws only line up on one end. Countless emails to the company get me no where... the EU Version includes a M2 SSD Expansion... so the next time I purchase the Argon One Case, Ill purchase the EU Version. The USA Argon One M2 case works, but is not worthy of 5 Stars... Buyer Beware!
