> 24 hourGood for water color and things like that but not great if you like to put a coating over the top. I sometimes like to use a glossy/glittery mod podge over my paintings and these colors smeared like crazy when I tried it.

> 24 hourIve enjoyed using Arteza Gouache paints and like the array of colors. I however have one complaint concerning this product. The tubes are small but a little bit goes a long way. I have had problems with some of the tubes where I can not get the caps off and in trying to do so have twisted the small metal tubes as they are not that rigid. I also have noticed once you use the paint clean off the neck before putting on the cap or it may be difficult to get off!

> 24 hourMy 10 YOs face lit up when she saw these. I had also included heavy duty paper and pallets. I think these are for the more serious aspiring child artist. Remember to buy paper and other items so they can hit the road running.

> 24 hourSorry for the bad swatches, but I really wanted to show what each color looked like. This set was worth every penny because you get colors that would take forever to achieve if you were to do mixing and I also like the color stories that were already set up for you in the box. My swatches are each color story that was premade. The gouache is very creamy, pigmented, and drys to a nice matte finish. They can be layered easily on top of one another and with the color range you can make alot of unique art pieces. Its important to note that even when watered down they still are pigmented. I highly recommend this set for beginners and those who arent a fan of mixing paint and just want colors laid out.

> 24 hourWow! I’m a transparent watercolor artist. Wanted to try gouache. Had a few of the expensive gouache colors but had a commission which required many other shades that what I had. So, I figured, what the heck, for this price point, I’ll give em a shot. Am I glad I did. That was 6 months ago. Ive continued to use the to supplement my expensive brand when needed and have been quite pleased. For the price of 5 tubes of the expensive brand, I got 60. Not all are fabulous, but I sure feel I got my money’s worth.

> 24 hourGood starter set. I used mine for my model train hobby. Thick but not too thick I add a few drops of water to get more mileage out of them.

> 24 hourComing from a beginner with guache this paint is pretty decent. Pros: - color selection - rich, vibrant colors -pearl colors are really beautiful - paint layed down pretty smooth and dried to a matte finish. -a little goes a long way - gives you two white colors which is great for mixing. Cons - some of the colors are a bit transparent , even the ones that are marked opaque. This is most prominent when laying a lighter color over a darker color (ex. Black). This can be remedied by adding less water or a second layer. - pearl colors are beautiful but did not lay well over darker colors. - not many skin shades in this kit so be ready to mix colors.

> 24 hourI like the paint well enough but if it was a little bit thicker I would love it. I’m just learning to paint so I will learn as I go. Update: As I learn to paint better, I think these paints are great. If I am working on a painting and want it to dry quick I just hold it in front of the fan a few minutes. I’ve learned a lot on mixing colors and creating my own style. I give them 5 stars

> 24 hourand they are more than good enough for me. I’ve contemplated getting this set for a few years. It went down to $30 and I couldn’t resist anymore. I signed up for the two free months of Skillshare and so far I’ve taken two classes on beginner painting florals with gouache. The paints performed very well. I have no complaints. My class projects were far from perfect, but they ended up looking more like flowers than I expected. And who can turn down getting 60 beautiful paint colors in the mail? Not me, that’s for sure. I’m very happy with the purchase. If my technique ends up getting much better, well then I’ll think about a small Holbein set. For now I have all I need or could want.
