> 3 dayThis box really has a wow factor. The packaging is incredible. But big problem: there’s not enough paint in one of the small tubes to paint anything bigger than a miniature. Not enough for a serious artist. I find I’m suddenly out of a color with no replacement. Plus there are metallic and pearized colors that I never use. So—too many colors for a beginner (they’re going to mix muddy colors) and not enough paint for an experienced one. If you’re going to have a try-it box, you need to have a reorder list with larger tubes of paint.

> 3 dayI love these paints! After seeing many paintings done with gouache I decided to get them for myself. Ive bought other Arteza products before and really liked them, so decided to try this brand. Everytime I buy a new art supply I buy a small set, love the product, buy a bigger set, and the smaller one sits unused. Not this time. I bought the big pack and Im so glad I did! The colors are very vibrant and lay down so easily on watercolor paper. Im new to this medium, so Ive made mistakes on my color chart, but I still enjoyed making it. I definitely recommend this gouache :)

> 3 dayIve enjoyed using Arteza Gouache paints and like the array of colors. I however have one complaint concerning this product. The tubes are small but a little bit goes a long way. I have had problems with some of the tubes where I can not get the caps off and in trying to do so have twisted the small metal tubes as they are not that rigid. I also have noticed once you use the paint clean off the neck before putting on the cap or it may be difficult to get off!

> 3 dayGood starter set. I used mine for my model train hobby. Thick but not too thick I add a few drops of water to get more mileage out of them.

> 3 dayThese are interesting. I am only a couple of years into exploring gouache as a hobby painter, but historically, I have used WN, Mark Graham, Reeves, and then some acryclic gouache. What initially intrigued me, was the number of colors available and figured I would give them a shot, since gouache isnt cheap. They are pretty decent. But I have noticed a couple of things Im not crazy about: 1. They dry out quickly. 2. Some colors dry and become very chalky 3. I have had several of the tubes split and have the paint begin to leak out the sides. Ballerina pink is no longer able to be unscrewed-- i just squeeze it out of the side of the tube. 4. They dont re-wet easily after drying on the palette. On the positive: 1. They have a very large range of colors and I love the neutral gray tones, the ultra bright peach-red, etc. 2. I dont feel bad exploring with these like I do with my more expensive gouache. 3. They really are more than enough quality-wise for absolute beginners, even beyond beginners.

> 3 dayI like most of the colors, though there are a couple that are garish that Ill never use, and also theres a number of pearlescent and metallic colors that I am unlikely to use (I like gouache partly because it is matt and photographs well.) These arent as high quality as m. graham (which are a delight to use). Mostly its apparent in the texture and ease of application, but also the pigment load is slightly less too. But for the price its ok. I do wish that there werent 12 tubes of pearlescent/metallic colors that I wont use. Also It would be nice to be able to replace colors I use a lot with a single tube rather than a whole set. I will probably stick to the basic 24 tube pack in the future.

> 3 dayThis is a great set for students or anyone wanting to use a large variety of hues and shades. The colors are really pretty, the paint itself is easy to use, as long as you understand Gouache. It’s also a good set if you’re tired of having to mix shades by hand. I find they all blend and perform well.
