I like the paint well enough but if it was a little bit thicker I would love it. I’m just learning to paint so I will learn as I go. Update: As I learn to paint better, I think these paints are great. If I am working on a painting and want it to dry quick I just hold it in front of the fan a few minutes. I’ve learned a lot on mixing colors and creating my own style. I give them 5 stars

I received this set for birthday. I’d never used gouache before so I wanted to give it a try. Once mixed with a little water the consistency is perfect. However, once it dries it’s chalky and chips. I feel like these were made to practice getting the consistency right. You can try using very thin layers to avoid cracking. I wouldn’t use these on any commissioned pieces.

I am loving the the colors and quality of these paints more than I thought I would. This is my first set of gouache paints and I am loving painting with them. I mix in some acrylics as well and they blend together perfectly. I think gouache is great for mixed media paper and paper canvas. I loved them so much that I bought a set for my mom. She normally paints with water colors but she is loving them too.

These are just wonderful! Silky smooth on most surfaces. Just the right level of opacity. The pearlescent/iridescent colors are just the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

I love this product. I’m new to goache and this was perfect for me to learn, practice, and play around with the medium. I love that its versatility. And the matte finish gives me all happy feels. Arteza brand products in gerneral are fantastic for beginners. Price point is worth it. I’m really happy and can’t wait to make a video with a full review.

I GOT A BOOK Get Started with GOUACHE by Emma Block and I got THIS SET OF GOUACHE paints to go with it, per a You Tuber Ive been following. I DO LOVE THESE PAINTS. This is a new medium for me to experiment with. Im not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, but I do love to paint my composition book pages before I start to collage/write/decorate the page for the day. These are proving to be a medium I will enjoy a lot and I have a feeling my acrylic paints may NOT be getting replaced as they run out. This set of Gouache paints are really nice. Easy to use, rather spendy, but I believe they will last a long time. Very versatile and beautiful colors in this set.

The colors are rich and vibrant. I love them. But you do need to spray seal between layers as they function like watercolor and will lift. Overall, 5 star because just look at these backgrounds… wow.

I bought this to use as an intro to gouache and it has been one of my favorite purchases as far as art supplies go. I have a tendency to buy professional art supplies even when I’m learning something new, but I had heard about these paints and loved the idea of getting a quality start without overspending. I’ve been very impressed with the performance of these!

Ive been painting with gouache for years and was super excited to try this set. Did not disappoint! The colors are a nice variety, which includes a lot of glittery colors. The colors are a good starting point to then mix and create your own. Works well on most paper, very blendable, water down or leave thick both look great. The only down side is that the tubes are small, so you have to watch out you dont run out of a color before its too late. Overall an awesome purchase!

I am finding the paints fun! Although to be honest? TOO many colors...perhaps ship in a tray style and less? I know whining. NO they are great I just live so tiny. Yes, I think they are great.
