Very happy with the set! I love how it can be opaque like acrylic but can be thinned down with water to make it act just like watercolor!! You will love it. Such a fun and versatile medium! Its good for art journals, too.

These paints are good. They are smooth and vibrant and there’s a huge variety of color, which I find very convenient. They dry quickly, mix well with other colors and water, and layer pretty well. The value is beyond what you can find with other brands. The box it comes in is easy for storage and organization. Overall, I like this set. My only qualm with these paints is that, even after drying, the paint will transfer onto the previous page. I leave my sketchbook open for 24+ hours after I paint to be sure my work is adequately dry before closing it, and I don’t use the sketchbook for travel, but I’m still having issues with dry paint transferring over onto the previous painting. It is almost like the way chalk or charcoal transfers. It’s pretty disappointing because sometimes it happens before I’m able to scan my work and then I have to edit out the parts where the colors transferred over. I also wish they came in different sizes and were available to purchase individually. I run out of white so quickly because the tubes are so small. Other colors are fine but the white really should be at least twice the size of the other colors. If it came with a larger white or we were able to purchase those without buying an entirely new set, that would be ideal. If you are a beginner and/or don’t scan or sell your work, this could work well for you. The paintings I’m able to make with these are very beautiful, but the transfer after drying just doesn’t cut it for me. If you’re a professional, you might be able to make these work but overall I would say maybe not risk it. I’m going to try something else once these run out.

The color selection is UNREAL, 60 full tubes, really great pastels and earth tones. The shimmer colors add a nice glimmer to the page and pleasantly surprised me with their consistency. This gouache is much better behaved than Reeves and has stayed pretty moist in my travel palette. Its also super easy to re-wet. I would definitely recommend this set to any who wants to make a custom gouache palette or just wants to experiment with gouache without having to constantly mix colors.

Ive enjoyed using Arteza Gouache paints and like the array of colors. I however have one complaint concerning this product. The tubes are small but a little bit goes a long way. I have had problems with some of the tubes where I can not get the caps off and in trying to do so have twisted the small metal tubes as they are not that rigid. I also have noticed once you use the paint clean off the neck before putting on the cap or it may be difficult to get off!

Theses paints are amazing! I would definitely recommend for beginners! I would say is that if you dont want the drawing to have paint bumps, then this isnt for you. But, if you dont mind then I greatly recommend it! Hopefully this is helpful! Also here two drawings I did with theses paints! I think they came out good-!

The box arrived slightly damaged front when outside. Inside, it was another story. It looked like the set I received had been used. Most of the top-layer tubes were crumbled; one of them had been opened or leaked out and the paint was everywhere. The side tabs of the top trays showed also some damage being crumbled and even rip in places but the tray themselves were fine (hence my wondering if this set was second hand and repackaged since it looked that someone hd already pried the top level trays out). I contacted the Arteza, the seller, four days ago but I have heard back at all. So sad.

So I loved swatching these paints right out of the tube. They are absolutely stunning. The paints dry to a matte finish which I like but they feel chalky without being chalky. I hope that makes sense. I poured them into full size pans, let them dry for 4 days and then re-wet them as I prefer working from a palette. I must say that they had to be wet quite a bit to reach the same consistency and vibrancy as if out of the tube but that’s fine. I bought them to color with my girls and they are enjoying them.

I am so beyond satisfied with this set! I’m pretty new to painting in gouache, but these paints were so easy to just pick up and use, and the colors are so rich, vibrant, and mixable!

I will say I love these paints, they have a nice texture and wonderful colors. My only complaint with these are how thin the metal tubes are. I have actually had one end up with a puncture hole just from the corner of another tube when I had them in a box altogether. I put some jb weld on it to seal in the paint, but be careful with the tubes as they are very thin. I know have them sorted in a way that they dont get moved around a lot near the sharper edges. Other than the packaging these are a great buy.
