> 3 dayI am so beyond satisfied with this set! I’m pretty new to painting in gouache, but these paints were so easy to just pick up and use, and the colors are so rich, vibrant, and mixable!

> 3 dayI love these paints! After seeing many paintings done with gouache I decided to get them for myself. Ive bought other Arteza products before and really liked them, so decided to try this brand. Everytime I buy a new art supply I buy a small set, love the product, buy a bigger set, and the smaller one sits unused. Not this time. I bought the big pack and Im so glad I did! The colors are very vibrant and lay down so easily on watercolor paper. Im new to this medium, so Ive made mistakes on my color chart, but I still enjoyed making it. I definitely recommend this gouache :)

> 3 dayI rarely leave reviews, but the quality of this gouache blew me away. The colors are true to their transparency rating, with the opaque colors being truly opaque with just a single layer. At this price point I didn’t expect them to be nearly so pigmented. The more standard colors (e.g. lemon yellow, cerulean blue) are exactly what you’d expect, and the other colors included, like seaweed and latte, are fantastic. Basically I want to paint with these forever.

> 3 dayI like most of the colors, though there are a couple that are garish that Ill never use, and also theres a number of pearlescent and metallic colors that I am unlikely to use (I like gouache partly because it is matt and photographs well.) These arent as high quality as m. graham (which are a delight to use). Mostly its apparent in the texture and ease of application, but also the pigment load is slightly less too. But for the price its ok. I do wish that there werent 12 tubes of pearlescent/metallic colors that I wont use. Also It would be nice to be able to replace colors I use a lot with a single tube rather than a whole set. I will probably stick to the basic 24 tube pack in the future.

> 3 dayThis Arteza set of sixty gouache paint colors is a rotating lightening deal and makes a great purchase for yourself or as a gift. This extended set is very well packaged for long term storage and the box exterior has a handy and well-organized replica of the full palette. The tube sizes are fairly generous and can be used straight from the tube or mixed with water or to complement watercolors. The set includes a generous selection of shimmery colors along with a wide range of every imaginable color. Gouache is easy to use, can add dimension and is very forgiving. It washes up easily. I think this set makes an excellent gift that will inspire hours and hours of fun and talent development. For gift giving, add some nice tablets of watercolor paper and a set of brushes that have just a little stiffness to them.

> 3 dayBought these for my daughter and she loved them. She found them much better than a previous $10 set she got, theyre bright, less chalky, blendable. The wide range of colors is great for someone starting out that might not know color theory or be very good at mixing colors on your own. Although, these do mix well too if you want to adjust colors. Definitely worth the bit of extra price, but still a very affordable great student grade paints.

> 3 dayLOVE using artezas gouache paints! I’ve been using them since arteza released their gouache line and let me tell ya, its the perfect gouache from beginner to pro! The texture of the paint is the best. I switched from latex paints to arteza. Which says a lot if you’ve used latex!! This is also the best price you’ll find for such great quality! 10/10 recommend

> 3 dayI received this set for birthday. I’d never used gouache before so I wanted to give it a try. Once mixed with a little water the consistency is perfect. However, once it dries it’s chalky and chips. I feel like these were made to practice getting the consistency right. You can try using very thin layers to avoid cracking. I wouldn’t use these on any commissioned pieces.
