> 3 dayIve been painting with gouache for years and was super excited to try this set. Did not disappoint! The colors are a nice variety, which includes a lot of glittery colors. The colors are a good starting point to then mix and create your own. Works well on most paper, very blendable, water down or leave thick both look great. The only down side is that the tubes are small, so you have to watch out you dont run out of a color before its too late. Overall an awesome purchase!

> 3 dayThe box arrived slightly damaged front when outside. Inside, it was another story. It looked like the set I received had been used. Most of the top-layer tubes were crumbled; one of them had been opened or leaked out and the paint was everywhere. The side tabs of the top trays showed also some damage being crumbled and even rip in places but the tray themselves were fine (hence my wondering if this set was second hand and repackaged since it looked that someone hd already pried the top level trays out). I contacted the Arteza, the seller, four days ago but I have heard back at all. So sad.

> 3 dayThese are great! They Also work really well with Watercolor. I love watercolor but if you mess up its really hard to fix and layering is difficult. These go right overtop of watercolor and you cant really notice its a different medium (see picture). layering and blending with these are great.

> 3 dayI paint professionally and have worked with most high end and budget brands. When I ordered the Arteza Gouache I did not expect much, but could not resist the good price. I am amazed by the strength of the colors which are highly pigmented. They are very opaque right out of the tube, but diluted with water they become translucent. The metallics are just luscious. I work mostly on wood and really wish I had tried these earlier. Oh, the possibilities....

> 3 dayI use gouache paints in conjunction with watercolors when painting. This set of gouache paints are decent for the price and comes with a really nice array of colors, including 3 different whites, 12 metallics and pearls. The pearls are absolutely beautiful and are great for highlights in watercolor or even acrylic painting. The colors are pretty rich, these go on well and blend well. The majority of the colors are rather opaque but can be thinned with water to create a semi transparent hue. These of course dry quick but can be rewetted for blending. Overall a nice set for beginners or hobbyist.

> 3 dayI love these paints for practice sketching. However I can not give them 5 stars due to the fact they mold super quick. I have waste quick a bit of paint cleaning out the mold. Otherwise I would recommend them.

25-11-2024The gouache is easy to work with. Its highly pigmented. But the metallic colors, have little shine to it. It shows well wet. But when the paint dries, the metallic effect dissappear. Some of the colors are neon. So swatching them, before you start, would be smart. Its a good set for beginners that wants a lot of pre mixed colors.
