I use this for normal WiFi needs and video calls and it works good. No dropped signals or issues after having this a month. Range is much better than my old Netgear router from 7 years ago. I turned off the lights in the front to keep it low key. A good purchase!

Love it! I purchased this to replace a Netgear AC1900 NightHawk. The range is impressive. It covers my entire home that is 1800 square feet with 2 floors. Also, I get a decent 5Ghz WiFi signal at the back of my property which is about 140 feet from the router. At that range Im still pulling about 40-50mb download out of my 480mb service. It was easy to setup. Took about 15 minutes to do. Been using it for 2 months no with no issues. Will be lookin to get more Asus products in the future.

Had this router in operation for a month now and very pleased. From the back room, it reaches our entire 1200 sq ft. house with signal, including the garage. In addition, though it has an obscene amount of flashing lights, these can all be turned off! This is a great boon because it has to be installed in our bedroom.

Use this router for multiple devices in our home. We run a 400mbs speed for internet and there is no hitch. Would recommend this device for people looking to have a great gaming experience without sacrificing speed and quality.

I got this Asus RT-AX82U to replace my Asus RT-AC87U which was over 6 years old Id have to reboot frequently. This RT-AX82U is MUCH faster and runs much cooler - I get full speed (and then some) from WiFi internet connection (cable) just about everywhere in my home. It sets up fast and the web interface has lots of things to tweak if you desire.

On time shipping. Packaged well. Was easy to setup. WiFi signal inside and outside is good. Would recommend to family & friends.

Works perfect, and no issues whatsoever. I take my time on the setup, on each and every item. I set mine up for maximum security and maximum performance. I previously had the AC-1900, which worked really well. Trend Micro stopped a lot of undesirable stuff from getting to my computer. When that happens, you will get a web page error if the bad stuff is on a web page. This router with my settings blows away all the neighbors when using the wifi analyzer app. As a test, I took my TV and Nvidia Shield off of the hard wire and switched them to wifi. No noticeable latency, works great.

Easy to set up and and very fast, over 400mb/s over wi-fi on a plan only rated for 400.
