> 3 dayThis router really shines when it comes to thickness. Its plenty thick. The gaming modes and wifi signal are strong. Where it really shines is the asus firmware and settings panels. So if you need a fast router get a thick one!

> 3 dayWas preparing myself for the irritation that is setting up a new router/network. The easiest router ive ever set up, works amazing. Took 20minutes and it performs better than expected. Asus hardware is typically pretty good. The software sucks, but the hardware works great.

> 3 dayHad some trouble getting it to work with my Frontier fiber optic internet, but we figured it out. Just make sure the WAN connection type is set to Automatic IP, and youll be solid (it will try to set it to PPPoe). Beautiful router.

> 3 dayDont hesitate to get this one. Ive had several Asus routers and tried a few other brands between. This one is incredible. Never needs a restart and is always fast. Keeps right up with my 800 mbps internet connection and about 40 devices. The user interface is great as well. Just make sure you realize how big this router is, about twice the size of my last Asus router.

> 3 dayReplaced an RT-AC68U Asus router - which covered a significantly larger area. While this router had more features it was not as powerful in range, bandwidth as my older router which cost less. Disappointing,

> 3 dayWhen I received this router, it was showing 0.65mb upload speed on my fios 300mb line. I was just ready to return this router, and now they released a new firmware (21617) on 11/24/22. I can confirm the fios slow upload issue is finally fixed right after the update. Im kind of disappointed by ASUS firmware support. This issue has been there for so long an affected many asus high end routers. The router itself is well made and flashy, but not sure I should fully recommend it.
