> 24 hourArrived with one antennae not working properly, just flops to horizontal, wont stay vertical, not impressed with Asus Quality control. Setup easy, good signal, my Galaxy s21 ultra drops from wifi6 to 5 when I go upstairs! Would have thought 6 would have had a better range than that, I dont live in a lighthouse so upstairs isnt far. Have been trying to set up my old Asus RT-AC5300 as a wifi mesh node, no luck yet, still working on it with Asus, an unprotected network ending in DWB appears which I am unable to add a password to!

> 24 hourUPDATE: Firmware 3.0.0.4.388_21617 appears to have fixed wired LAN Internet upload performance with my Verizon Fios ONT. Sadly, wireless LAN Internet upload performance is 150 to 300 Mbps slower than it should be. I am continuing to use an old Asus RT-AC3200 as an intermediary between the GT-AXE16000 and my Verizon ONT.

> 24 hourlove this router. just remember to turn on the 802. something ax feature to get the 6ghz to activate or else it wont work or will say wrong password. other than that hiccup well everything works as intended, wifi is good, the signal strength is very good especially when i have the router pretty far away from my room and still get very good signal strength.

> 24 hourRecently upgraded from a Netgear Nighthawk AX4 and I got to say that I am quite impressed with this router. We have around 50+ devices running in the household and the AX4 definitely was bogging down at times and the range was quite bad. This routers range is absolutely insane compared to the AX4, not to mention it would be easy to hook up AiMesh which was very limited on the Netgears model as well. The Web GUI/App seems to work much better than the Netgears and provides so much more information. The AiProtection is a nice added bonus compared to the Netgears, but that is something that was available to a lot of asus routers in the past. The few downsides that I see is that it is a chunky boy for sure and I was quite disappointed to find out that a lifetime WTFast account was not provided and only a 90day free trial of OutFox was replacing it. Otherwise, this router is quite a beast.
