I have this hooked up to a CM1100 using Xfinity 1gbps and this router is amazing for a house hold full of devices. I can have numerous 4K stream and not slow down gaming on any console.

This was a great upgrade. I have had this for about a week now and everything is running smooth. I am not yet using WiFi 6 however. I did try and find it on my compters WiFi connection list but it wasnt there (it is WiFi 6). Not sure if the problem is with WiFi 6 is the router or the network card. Asus fusion works well. It was was a pretty easy setup. So far no connection drops and everything is running great.

The Asus GT-AXE16000 bought as the successor of the AX11000 met most of my expectations in terms of performance, WiFi range and configuration. Unfortunately, there are still problems with AiMesh support ... finally, instead of AiMesh, I used a classic configuration router - access points (2xET 12 Pro) and it works stably ... Generally, I recommend it because of the two 10 Gbe ports and WiFi 6E support.

This thing is huge! Right out the box downloads are above 900 mbps. The GUI has tons of options. It blew my Linksys AC3200 out of the water. Best download speed with my Linksys was about 500 mbps. I’m very happy!!

I love the 2.5 for the internet port. I have 2 computers with 10G net cards. I am moving data between them in 10 minutes which had taken 45 before. Just great speed.

You have been thinking about upgrading, waiting for the axe-16000, just get this axe-11000. It works great, signal is amazing. I have some machines wired in because I do have gig service and I like seeing 900mbs speed tests. As far as nas, yup, this has you covered if you just want to plug in a portable drive or have a file server that you want on the network it shall work and you will love the speeds.

Purchased the AXE11000 1 month ago. Since then, ive had nothing but connectivity problems. I currently have Spectrum internet as my isp @400 mbps. I use a Spectrum modem with cat 6 and plugged into the 2.5g port and nothing. I plug into the 1g port and it works fine. I unplug over & over but now i cant even get the 1g port to work. All firmware is up to date. I did a factory reset but still nothing. I wanted to return to Amazon but im 4 days late so return not possible. Guess im out 500$. Save your money & shop around before buying this buggy router.

Multi-gig WAN ports are useless if LAN ports going to well capable computer that can connect to multi-gig connections are limited to 1gig. Many companies are milking this by claiming fast speeds but the reality, your wired nodes won’t be able to connect any higher speeds over a gig. Don’t be fooled by this tactic. My wireless IOTs connect well and high rated speeds. Not everything is wireless.

I had the same issue as another reviewer where I had to setup the initial internet using the 1gig WAN port. The 2.5gig WAN port does not work initially. Another issue I ran into was that the first administration login screen was in Chinese. I had to guess what fields were what and it didnt allow me to change the language until actually logging in. That said, the first thing I did once the internet was working was to update to the latest firmware. I see that other reviewers have not mentioned that, but I assume they did that (or they shouldnt be complaining).
